  1. Methinks I'll be buying a few more of these too,my friend!
  2. This is gunna be KILLER kool,Walt!
  3. AWESOME!!! :D
  4. Yeah...I ride just a little bit (when the spinals allow, that is)...
  5. I do,a little bit (check my blog in my sig,it's a brand new one even)...
  6. Jason, looks like an AWESOME start,my friend! Rick: I like leaving Thursday Night Street Fights at Bristol Dragway (with a bit less rubber on the rear tires,HA! ) about the time some other Mustangs do,LOL,this one time (...at band camp... ) there were about a dozen of us in line all the way through town, all with the painted #'s from the racing still on the windows,we got LOTS of looks
  7. Some NICE longroof's here! A bit larger scale (1:1 ),but I sure miss it... I'll be building a semi-replica of it (in 1:25 scale,LOL,AMT's 2 door kit) within the next year...does that count?
  8. Sweet! My son's '70 BOSS 429 will be the next on my chopping block (uh....bench) after I finish the Bullitt
  9. That's what I was thinking too...I did similar (all I've got done so far) between a '94 Cobra ragtop and '94 GT hardtop to get a '94 GT ragtop like mine...simple procedure, just measure 50 times, saw once
  10. Rear end pics, sorry it took me so long... Yeah,I think we could (use the glue kit's tail lights)
  11. It orta be close to the real thing, besides, you're building it for you, right? I SAW an '08 Bullitt out this evening (had to run back out for some Mtn Dew)...such torture
  12. Shhhhhhhh Bradley, can't WAIT to see your '10 GT going! I know the following is SN95 talk, but it's cool (and I'm too stuffed to click another thread open,LOL!)...while we were pulling out of Logan's lot in my '94 with the top down (66 degrees out right now,WOOHOO! ),there was a '94-'95 red V6 car went right buy us (we pulled out behind em) with their top down, and we both caught up to a red '99-04 with the top down who was following a red '94-04 hardtop (both V6 cars)...that just felt SO cool,LOL!
  13. Clear red snapped over a chrome base...ah well I'm getting ready to walk out the door for have-to's for the day,I'll get em shot and posted later today\tonight I'm going to finish my current WIP's before starting on one of these (one of em is for my son,the still-sealed one),but when I do,it'll be in the '05-'10 Mustang CBP thread and I'll let y'all know LOL,Bradley, you and I were posting at the same time . I agree 110% with every word you said, definately looks doable. I'll get some more detailed shots of the rear end later tonight,y'all lemme know if there's any specific shots anyone wants to see OK,I'm out the door, she's blowing the horn at me TTYS
  14. Picked up some paint and the October issue of this here forum's host magazine (full of Hudsons! ),and these at Hobbytown today...
  15. LOL,I hear ya,Bradley! Last couple years,I've been building less...involved...projects for just that reason (of course, after a house fire,I'm starting fresh,so....LMBO!). I posted up pics of the boxes contents here..... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49803&pid=562785&st=40&#entry562785 ...if you want to check it out. Not the best pics, but as a survivor of the fire, the digicam has it's days. It'll be replaced tax time
  16. Just cracked it open. A conversion is certainly doable, but it will take a bit of work,BUT all the pieces are there (I just basically glanced). I'm a bit disappointed,I was expecting a bit...more detail, but it will hit it's intended target (new or young builders) perfectly,my son will LOVE it,LOL! All in all, from a glance-through,well worth the lower price-point it sells for. I'll buy a couple more and try some kitbashing\swaps
  17. I will. Right now I'm waiting on her to crash out (no need for her to know I blew and extra $32,LOL ),now NORMALLY,I'm up till about 2-3am,but I'm pretty worn out today, might be morning on pics, but if I outlast her I'll post em up tonight
  18. Kitbashing is the reason I want 4 of em (1 OOB for both me and the Boy,1 kitbashed GT and GT500 ragtop full details,I need another of each of those-and 2 more of these-now) Might be tomorrow on the pics,I'm wearing down fast and she's still up,LOL!
  19. Joshua, can't wait to see more of that '99! Bradley,WOW you gots a full bench! Jonathan, cool beans, can't wait to see em going (that '10 looks SA-WEET!) I ran to Hobbytown today to snag some specific color paint, and they had 3 2010 Mustang GT ragtop snapper kits in (one in someone else's hand,so) I snagged (the other) 2,one for me,one for the boy's stocking. I'll get some pics up later, and see how much work it looks to be to kitbash this with the GT hardtop glue kit
  20. Well...so much for that plan,LOL! I had to run out to the LHS (Hobbytown in Johnson City) for some particular paint, and they had 3 of em (one was in someone else's hand headed to the checkout),so I snagged the other two I'll get it opened up and post some pics later tonight (can't let the wife see I bought two more kits today )
  21. Wow,Jonathon,looks AWESOME,almost 1:1! :D
  22. Modelroundup has em for $12.90 + S&H. I'm probly gunna wait until January to get mine,as I'm wanting 4,plus an extra glue'd '10 GT and GT500 (2 to build OOB,one for me and my son)
  23. Man,I HATE to hear that,Mike, and I hate when that happens. I have MUCH faith in you though, don't let it get you down...happens to all of us (especially me,LOL)
  24. Bradley,as to your last sentance....YEAH RIGHT!!! It'll be killer! Mike,I'm sorry to see that,my friend,I really am. I HATE when that happens. You'll get it though, your past builds proves you will, and that it'll be worth it. Glad to hear the schedule issues might soon get better, hopefully will give you more time for important things (including building,as well as family) I've been piddling with the Bullitt a bit today, doing some of the trim (including the headlight recess area and glass),and assembling some interior bits. I'll try and have some mockups today or tomorrow, and finish her up soon
