  1. Is that a Hint Gregg? :?
  2. Hehehe, Bill, your so funny! Ok then riddle me this: What is your favorite color? What is your quest....ah, wait a min. That's from a movie..... Ok, the year I was born, Ford discontinued production of the Edsel. Hawaii became the 50th state. (Don't help him Gregg!)
  3. I'm back! Thank you! Thank you, I'm here allllll weeekkk! No pictures, I am a gentleman after all.
  4. I would cut up the body and do it in sections so the plastic thickness was not affected. Yes to the oven and of course all your "vacuum-forming" questions are answered in my how-to article in Model Cars Magazine December '04, issue #101. Jairus
  5. None of your business!!!!!! Or at least that would be the answer if I could remember.....
  6. We hit the magic mark of 400. Whoo, Hoo! Sooooo, I will be saying good-bye for a week vacation Saturday through Thursday at an undisclosed mountain retreat with a bunch of young girls for a week of frolicking, swimming and hiking. (sigh) (I may post pictures... who knows) The forum is now in the able hands of Gregg who HAS banning power! (be afraid, be very afraid) Ciao
  7. Welcome Leon! Post your builds, post your thoughts, post your fence posts....
  8. (Luv you Bill, and ...I think we need more emoticons...)
  9. I am very happy to hear that you guys worked this out like gentlemen! WAY TO GO! Choosing a new name is very adult and very community oriented. Thank you! 8)
  10. Wellll.... you gotta shorten them somehow. I think I would shorten the body behind the door line and simply carve new tips from the existing fins. Don't worry about losing chrome trim definition. That can be brought back with baremetal. Looks like a fun project!
  11. Yes, welcome aboard Jeff! What Bob says is correct... we are on a full name basis here. Which is a great idea so your buddies can buy you a beer at the next show. Think of it like the name tag you wear at GSL...
  12. Dave, I drooling over some of those cool projects!!! Really like how you think dude, thanks! Mad Slammmer..... I love the Bus project! I have one started too that I really need to finish and you may have guilted me into warming that one up again. However, please post your full name in the signature box in your profile section so we all can know who built such cool stuff. Tanks!! 8)
  13. Wow! Theres some neat stuff there that I would love to get my hands on.... Actually, I have SO Many "Stalled" projects that it would end up taking me the better part of a day to photograph and post them all. I like to think of them not so much as "stalled", but simply pushed back to make way for a more intresting project. You can think of the stalled project as a playground for learning....., or some such justification... Ok, I done. 8)
  14. Welcome Craig. Love your style in that lowboy rod. "Catsmeow baby"!!! 8)
  15. Just a suggestion here but how about starting something new. And... the contests section might be the best place for a group build off or the like. My two cents....
  16. The Blues Brothers and the "blues mobile" crashing through the mall while listening to Sam'n Dave on 8-track always gets my vote.... 8) VW Dave, could you please post your real name in the signature box section of your profile.... thank you!
  17. Welcome aboard Don! Keep your hand and arms inside the car and please feel free to post pictures of your works in progress! 8)
  18. WELCOME Rob... if I forgot to say something... Seems like the new reg numbers are coming fast and heavy...
  19. Terry! Famous in song and story!!! VERY happy to have you grace our humble forum. WELCOME TO MCM FORUM!
  20. Very nice so far... but more dirt and grime underneath. Send it here and James W will be GLAD to dirty it up... :-)
  21. Is there any they there anymore?
  22. Nice to know that I am not the only stupid one who bought multiple kits for the ONE FREEK'N stock ring and cap wheel in the reissue. Anybody want an extra 73 Mustang kit?
  23. You need some sort of imaging software on your computer such as Photoshop Elements in order to re-size digital pictures.
  24. There is no limit to the number of pictures in a post. However, that said, rule of thumb is keep the count to 5 or 6 per post. And then, break up your "article" into multiple posts. The system creates a new page after a specific number of postings are ... ah, posted regardless of the length of the posts. If a few LONG entry’s are posted with tons of pictures, the result is a really long page with a relatively long wait for the page to load. Neat wagon by the way! Bill, as soon as you finish a couple of resin cars you'll be hooked! Working with resin is no more difficult than plastic, just.....different.
