  1. It's going to be like an old car parked behind a shed, everything weathered and stuff. I got some fake plant stuff to make like a draping branch come down over the shed.
  2. Part 2 of a gift to my dad. Already built the GTO, but now he wants a shelf diorama! My first time using acrylics, and I'll be using some things that don't come out of a box. The acrylics I'll be using These blocks came from a marble track set =P Gotta get this done by christmas! All ideas and thoughts are welcome, there'll be daily updates!
  3. Thanks very much!
  4. This is so cool! This is what I hope to do in the future, I've always wanted to junk an old van like this! My dad used to have a Chrysler one from Holliday Inn, the only expense we ever made on it was gas prices (full tank was $67 in 2005!) because we bought it for $600 and sold it to a boneyard for $600!
  5. I absolutely love factory stock Mopars! This'll be AWESOME! I think everything looks just fine on it, I just wanna try out that blackwash stuff, where do you get it?
  6. Hey I just built one of those 389's, I think that'd look awesome on this!
  7. Well, you might have seen my 66 goat out there in the Under Glass section, and if you have, then you also might have noticed that there aren't any pinstipe lines on either side. That's because when I followed the directions to apply them (or any other decal that was given) to my car, they didn't stick! So I ended up using clear-drying white tacky glue for any other decals, but I wasn't about to do that all alongside the car. I'm wondering if most box given decal are even really worth it, or I am missing a step. I even let a practice decal dry overnight on and exta piece, and the next day it was curled a little, and it could just slide all over the place! Should I just start looking for other decals? -Roland
  8. Very nice! The orange/copper and black looks really good.
  9. Alright so last night I posted some of the in progress pics, here's some just finished pics: Theres a close up of the grill not completely on there. Oh well.
  10. Yeah I've always wanted to do that in a model =D
  11. I think I'll join you on this one. Model

  13. Here are some of the in-progress pictures That interior was taped off with normal ol' blue painter's tape =)
  14. This 'car' *cough* needs to undergo a Top Gear episiode.
  15. Okay, thanks. =)
  16. Thanks a lot! =) Just one question, when you say 'below 400', does that mean 600, or do you mean the next grittier, as in 360? Just wanna get my directions correct.
  17. You'll definitely see me trying this out in the near future!
  18. Beginner modeler here, and I am mostly headed towards weathering, but I would like to know what grit ranges I should be looking at for sandpaper. Anything helps =)
  19. I love the telephone detail!

  24. Sorry I did not get new pictures up last weekend as I said I would. Had a bit of technical difficulties with the machine. I am busy this weekend so they might not be up that soon, but don't worry I'll get them up.
  25. I'll get some clear pictures up this weekend, these ones don't really bring out what I like about this model.
