Yea, I love how the paint job came out great! But alittle suggestion here for on your next charger build, the tail lights pose to be mounted on the inside of the tail light panel. I once too made this mistake also and cuaght myself at the last minute before gluing them in. LOL

Best way to decant spray paint?
MoparWoman Jamie replied to Ryan S.'s topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Easy, skip all the fuss that alot of you guys go through. I just take a straw that had the criple bends in that you can bend, and paint can, and a jar and hold the straw right at the spray can nozzle and easy decent the paint into a small jar that I ten to us on the air brush. When finish, I jus trow straw away and put the paint can back on the selve and leave the decented paint to gas out for afew minutes. You guys takes what 10 minutes or more to do the decent as in putting everything togother but how I do it only takes me like say 2 minutes if that, maybe less then 1 minute to put all things togother. -

Here you can see I started to paint the covers with a transparent blue.. The thing is my camera can not for some strange reason capture the nice chrome blue color that these covers gives off though.. -

I started working on the engine detail. My friend wanted me to add the word 'Mack" to each valve cover. Here I bmf the covers But I didn't like how the words turn out so I went back and redid them alot better this time.. -
Looking at the decals, the thing that kinda takes it all away for me is the faded black color around the flames that meets the gloss black of the model like on the hood part.. Then seeing it run down the side the same way just kinda takes the ideal of the rig looking real away for me. But rest of the build looks great so far though. John your doing good at scratch building this stuff man. Keep up the very very good scratch building!

I started working on the engine, got some detail work to do on that.. will post afew photos in afew days here. -
The Drive Angry charger I'm not sure is a dark purple or a dark black purple, plus the doors had no vent glass at all. The Death Proof Charger had no interior in at all almost but for the dash. It also had a full cage in it as well. The Fast Five Charger was a 1970 Charger model flat primer black and the Drive Angry & Death Proof Chargers are both 1969 models. Big differents in the grills in the 1969's & '70's years.

I thought it was to relieve stress too, but this hobby I found out is really fun to work in and be created and push your skills to see what you can really do with plastic and resin and metal parts. Be looking for more updates this weekend maybe. Also thanks for the kind comment too. -

Thank you all for the kind comments about the project. It means alot to me. Had one project came down with a big issue that I am working on getting repaired or I would be working on this project alittle more. Should have some updates on this project in about a week or so. Again thanks for the kind comments on this project. -
Rom, you did one mighty fine job on the build, but the chutes look to gloss and to clean, and to much like glass. LOL here is a suggestion man, maybe try using some fabric for the making of the chutes and see how fabric looks. I think it would look more realistic in the long run. But I'm not trying to tell you want to do, oinly given a suggestion is all.
