  1. Old IMC GT 40 Ford , the headers were a nightmare.
  2. Well, I'm not cutting up my 65 Plymouth hardtop kit now!
  3. A Revell Mustang, somewhere about an '06 or '07, that and the Dodge Challenger are about the only new cars that interest me. Rest are much older.
  4. Tyler, that blue mono Manx you posted belongs to a friend of mine, it's number 7 of 12 if I remember right. Here's a photo of it and my Manx II last June parked in front of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
  5. I love the single cab, would hate to have to lift the Harley that high !
  6. It should be noted that the top two photos of Manx's dashes posted above are of the Monocque Manx's, only the first 12 cars were built that way. Notice the fiberglass floors, these cars didn't use a VW pan.
  7. I don't suppose any of you guys have ever skydived or rode a motorcycle have you?
  8. Eat healthy, exercise and drink 8 glasses of water a day, die anyway.
  9. Some people are too afraid of dying to ever live.
  10. If I want to watch a video I want to hear the commentary, or the sounds of the cars, ect. Backround music ruins it, and most of the people who use background music have terrible taste in , ahum, "music".
  11. A machinist in Muncie (near here) drove a Model A truck as his only daily driver until his death.
  12. Bill's a great guy, I've rode many a mile in that T, and he taught me to drive it years ago. Oh, and we never broke down.
  13. Those cars weren't pre-electronics, they had early ECM's and FI. Yep, with a few years on them I wouldn't try to drive one across town.
  14. A man who lives near here has a 1912 Model T Ford, he drove it to a Model T meet at The Henry Ford a few years back, and he's in his 80's.
  15. Why is that brave? People drove 65 VW's across country all the time when they were still around. That trip to the Falls was for a Manx Club event, and 20 some cars drove from California, one was from Alaska. This year I'm driving it to Texas. It's called maintenance.
  16. I have a Meyers Manx dune buggy built from a wrecked 65 Volkswagen back 45 years ago. last summer I drove it from Indianapolis to Niagara Falls and back on a long weekend. Driving it 10 miles to work and back every day is nothing.
  17. Yes, I noticed it was coming, I will be subscribing soon.
  18. Two comments, first there were only about a quarter of the cars on the road back then as there are today, and have you ever tried to look over your shoulder and back up a new car? With the wide pillars, headrests on all seats, high deck lids and belts hanging everywhere you can't see, the back up cameras are a must. I'll drive my old ones as long as I can.
  19. I'm an OLD timer, I'd love to see Unk and 'them Varmits, even if they were just re prints. Never cared for K & B.
  20. They say walmart, local walmart don't have it.
  21. Yeah, they normally call a sedan a hardtop! LOL
  22. Where are you guys finding it?
  23. I think all are 1/24 th.
  24. Just picked up the December issue at the B&N in Nobelsville Indiana, I have no idea how long they've been on the shelf there.
  25. They did you a favor, that kit is in the list to be reissued soon.
