Blue 69, dark 70. On the dark 70 you can also see the larger side marker light with the engine size call out above it. The 68 and 69's had the engine call out included in the bezel. -

Front parking lights, side marker lights and tail lights all grew bigger in 1970. -
Cool! I worked at a Subaru dealer back in the early 70's and people would bring these in for service, we couldn't do much because Subaru wouldn't bring in parts for them! I always liked the 360 vans best!

Although the AMT 72 Nova kit isn't nearly as good as the Revell 69, it is more accurate foe building a 70 as it has the correct lights all around. -

Another vote for the Revell snapper. I wonder if that HRM resin FI unit is available separately, I could use a few. -

It does if you kit bash it with an AMT 67 fastback. -

Also it's not hard to do one from an AMT 69 GTX kit, Harts Parts Resin makes the stuff you need. The side molding is easily removed but the deck lit takes a bit of work. I still think the Jo Han body looks best tho. -
You sir are correct!

My LHS owner told me yesterday that Round 2 had him destroy his first shipment of kits with the incorrect bodys, verified with cell phone pics, and all kits in circulation now should be correct. Hated to hear that as I would loved to had them for the FI engines and great chassis.

Partial Kits- do they have any value?
Craig Irwin replied to mikemodeler's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Picked up a cheap, and I mean very cheap, Gremlin kit at a recent show, missing the body and bumpers that were used for a slot car. Went right over to Jimmy Flintstone and bought a Resin early gremlin body, had less than a new Gremlin kit cost in the project. -
Ollie's strike again
Craig Irwin replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Just came back from Ollie's, no good for a car guy unless you want a Lindburg T or a P.T. looser. And move quick, only one of each left!
