  1. While we are on the subject of poorly styled autos, I would like to nominate several scratch built "Best of Show" winners at a well known model contest held every two years. They may be top workmanship, but ..............
  2. I was at a hobby shop that carries MCM yesterday, and the owner said he hadn't seen the new one yet.
  3. As far as I know 200 is the last one out.
  4. They don't list one, but he has several others I want. I'll ask.
  5. I could do the work myself, but was looking for a quick fix.
  6. Great job, I always thought the 67 was the last good looking full sized Pontiac, and I was brought up in a Pontiac family!
  7. Bandit no longer lists one, Modelhaus isn't taking orders, and the R&R one is a joke. Anyone else casting one?
  8. They didn't hurt anything, it's a four door.
  9. I saw very few on the contest tables, that leads me to believe they didn't sell well.
  10. It's VERY rare, and worth what someones willing to pay for it. $1.700 ? Not me, especially when resin repops are available.
  11. I don't know, just never thought of getting on there.
  12. Very well done modern kit.
  13. Way out of my area, pictures anyone?
  14. I'm not familiar with Autobianchi autos, but I like basic "get you there" type of cars, interesting.
  15. It's a 64, (63 did not have the painted center grille), but I know nothing about the coachwork.. Notice the wrap around windshield, last used in 1960 on Cadillac passenger cars, but used on Cadillac commercial chassis through 64. This could be made from a JoHan 64 and a 59 Ghostbuster kit. Jimmy Flinstone makes a 59 hi top ambulance body that might help too.
  16. You'd be surprised how nicely those old promos build up into full detailed kits with a little work and some kit bashing.
  17. It's still listed, scroll clear down to the second from the last line. http://jimmyflintstonestudios.com/?product_cat=car-bodys
  18. Bingo ! Tires finally caught up with horse power.
  19. Sales of the 54 Corvette were so bad the car almost died with that model. Zora Duntov , the new V8 and the Ford Thunderbird all convinced GM to give it a few more years.
  20. If the original poster is in fact asking about the 54 Corvette fastback showcar, Google "Corvette Corvair", the name it went under at the motoramas. My Neighbor builds 1:1 replicas of if.
  21. He is speaking of the 63 Split Window coupe.
  22. I found some '34 Phantom II's, And the 62 Silver Cloud. Doesn't seem to be anything in between them. I've got a Phantom V in the works from two Silver Clouds, but they share nothing with the earlier cars.
  23. Mid 2017 release? I was wrong, I am cutting up the hardtop kit I have.
