  1. A rare and valuable kit is only rare and valuable untill the next reissue!
  2. I'm personaly hoping for a 56 Bel Air 2 door sedan.
  3. My great-grandfather farmed with horses until the day he died, in 1946! Some people just like what they like, thats all. I have NO intrest in any digital magazine.
  4. Or the guy who back in '27 when he heard that Ford was going to stop building Model T's and bought ten of them to last the rest of his life, and never drove anything else. Us old grumpy guys like what we like and are set in our ways.
  5. If I had no intention of building a kit I'd have no reason to buy it.
  6. Nothing but good to report, order away!
  7. I don't know the size numbers but correct 1/25 cheaters for early 60's stockers and super stocks would be very welcomed here!
  8. I know it sounds strange but I've found lacquer thinner to be safe on resin. But I always test it on something small or scrap first.
  9. Very nice work, on an interesting car.
  10. Looks just like GTO's car from the Two Lane Blacktop movie! I like it!
  11. I just joined the nightmare kit CBP, but I guess I can handle two as I just started one of my bucket list models a few minutes ago, a Waldorf Nomad Corvette. After all, I was building it anyways........... Anyway, all I've done so far is cut up a 53 Corvette model and try to figure out what to do next.
  12. Now to find my camera..........
  13. Strange, the 1:1 53 and 56 Fords are both facelifted 52's. The tops SHOULD work LOL!
  14. It's up to each store, ask your manager and he might order it.
  15. How complete will it be, and what is the recomended donor?
  16. Basicly the chassis, suspension, firewall and underhood goodies. Just use a Chevy engine (the Olds trans may be better) and make sure the battery is on the correct side. The radiator and core support may need some alterations but should be much better than the Chevelle kit parts too. A little trimming around the edges and it all should all fit just fine.
  17. I buy both magazines every issue, but I never go to the other forum. "Nuff sed".
  18. U.S. - Electrical system = U.K. - Lucas
  19. Can someone who has one of these kits in hand help me? I need the measurements of the door glass size, and the length of the door? I need them is a project to correct an old Revell 57 Ranchero kit to stock. Thanks in advance.
  20. The bonnet is the hood. As far sa I know the top is the top or roof.
  21. But of course, if that two wheeler is an Indian it is a MOTOcycle.
  22. I'm in with a Revell 57 Ford Ranchero, the chop top multi piece body with the wrong length doors mess of a kit. Going for a corrected to stock build.
