  1. Thanks for the quick responce, finding out the AMT kits had one I checked with modelhaus and sure enough Don has them for $5.00. I can't chase the old kits down for that!
  2. Anyone know of one? I don't think one was ever in a kit.
  3. STOP IT! You guys are making too much sense! LOL!
  4. So why is it when you smack somebody up the side of the head and he says "That smarts!", but he obviously isn't any smarter......?
  5. I just watched a 72 Camaro run a 7.00 at 205 mph, makes my old 69 Camaros 12.41 seem rather slow.......
  6. Depends on your definition of rideable, across the street to a chiropractors office is not a ride, a 600 or 700 mile day is a ride.
  7. Almost a decade too late, how many un-rideable "Tribute to cheap beer" bikes can a crew of soap opera rejects build anyway. I would watch a comedy special to see them try to ride some of those "bikes" cross country without a chase truck thoe.
  8. My dad's father had a '58 Chrysler Windsor 4 door with a Hemi when I was a kid, traded it for a 61 IH pickup! I hear he had a 32 Chrysler roadster with dual sidemounts when my dad was young. My mom's mom rode a 45'' Indian Scout back in the mid 20's, might have been a 101, who knows now. My grandfather bought her a 60 Corvair 4 door when they first came out, that worked out so good for them it was soon traded for a Ford Fairlane and they never owned a GM car again! They drove Fairlanes and Torinos untill their passing.

  10. I don't care for the hazmat problems or the price.
  11. I've heard talk of a 58 Pontiac Bonneville, not real exciting to me, I'm not fond of the 1958 GM look myself.
  12. My money is on "I'll never see one".
  13. I've watched sand rails run 1/4 mile events, they are VERY wheelie prone. Larry's off road center in Dayton Ohio holds their "VW Nationals" each June, and might have some pics on his web site. PS, I'm building a turbo engine for my Manx, they are quite popular now a days.
  14. Past MT Car of the Year winners, 58 Edsel, Corvair, Vega, AMC Pacer, Renualt Allance, .....
  15. I don't think of drag racing VW's and dune buggys in the same thought, but you might find something here, www.thesamba.com go to the off road and high po threads.
  16. Back when I was in high school one of my car buddys little kid sister used to come out and bother us in the garage. She died from lung cancer this last August at 53 years old. Her last year wasn't pretty, when I wen't over to see her back in June I drove the same car I had in school to show it to her. She couldn't get out of bed so her husband took some phone pictures to show to her. Light 'em up guys.
  17. I'd just build the General Lee from the much better Revell 69 Charger kit and use aftermarket decals.
  18. With all of the new tri-five Chevy kits some jr. stocker sets would go over good! (don't forget the sedan deliverys!)
  19. All Belair V8's V's were gold.
  20. I stockpiled the old type, I won't have to change for years.
  21. I don't respect nazis, spelling or otherwise enough to capitalize the n.
  22. Keep me informed!
