  4. No need to apologize man, that's what we are here for. I like to keep a log of my work on my Fotki album when I do this type of work, it's easier to remember later if you need to remind yourself on how it was done. In this case, the pictures will tell the story..... http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki

  9. Thanks bro! I do use Alclad for the goldish tone of the carbs but I also drybrush them a bit and then give 'em a slight blackwash, it brings out a lot of the details!!
  10. Once at a club meeting, I had a newcomer visiting us looking for someone to build an F1 racecar for him. One of the guys told him that once in a while I would do comission work so he asked me if I could build it for him. I had never built an F1 racer but I do consider myself to be pretty versatile when it comes to modeling so I accepted the challenge. It was a Revell McLaren Mercedes MP4-25, the Jenson Button car. I thought it was a little challenging but I must say that I did have fun putting it together, surely something different, guess that's what I enjoyed the most. The car was supposed to be painted chrome but I just went with a silver color from Tamiya and a clearcoat, the guy didn't want to pay the extra price for the paintingjob. http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki http://www.fotki.com'>Hosted on Fotki
  11. Wire looms are made from hypo needles. The carbs are resin from Model Car Garage together with all the linkage hardware. The fuel bowl is from Replicas and miniatures as well as the intake manifold, gas lines, heads and oil dipstick, it's a hop up kit specifically made for this '53 Ford Victoria by Lindberg engine. I also used the carbs from MCG for the Merc!!
