The holes were made to give me an idea where to place the P/E letters, you will not see them after that because the letters will cover them.

I am planning on using a P/E set for mine so I am not worried about eliminating those letters at all. I am working on one right now and so far I added the front bezels and painted the model also. All I need is to polish that clear. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki

I like the idea of the Alclad for all the chrome trim but as you said, it's a pain having to work around it while finishing the model. BMF is your best choice here Greg, don't you like it?

I think it will look great once you use the complete P/E set on it, I like the factory stock look and think it will also look great if finished with some cool dog dish hub caps!!

No man, same venue but now we have the vendors sharing the same space with the models. We are getting close to the 500 mark, it's a great show!

Thanks bro. I used a sharpie from behind the windshield, there was a pronounced detail on the window which I followed to make this step a little easier.

Thanks guys. The color is Nassau Blue metallic from the Testor's lacquers and the clear is Testor's Wet Look. The top is Tamiya Royal Blue.

Hey Tom, there was a small tutorial that came out in the August/September issue of the magazine in reference to this. Basically what I do is scribe the lines deeper on the plastic even before I primer it, add the dark wash and that's it, you dont have to go back and do it again and if you do, it shouldn't be a problem....
