  1. Well, I was considering the purchase of an I-pad these days, this might just seal the deal!!

  3. Very cool, those Tamiya VW's are gorgeous. How did you go about working w/ the black lines around the fenders? A lot of people forget this little issue.
  4. Really impressive work John, as usual!!
  5. Wow man! How did you get those leaves to look so cool and in scale???
  6. Blasphemous but cool.....
  7. Fantastic work man, awesome looking engine bay and the details are top notch!!!
  8. Awesome and clean build, looks phenomenal!!!!
  9. Awesome work!!!
  10. Thank you guys, the suggestion was never meant to demean or look down on anyone, like Dr. Cranky says, if you put that much effort on making your models look good, why not show them in a better light? I've had a lot of questions concerning photography answered by Mr. Jim Haught and it's something I am having fun with every time I have an opportunity to play with. I am still learning and will try to better myself in this area of my pastime which I enjoy so much. Will I ignore your posts because of cluttered or messy backgrounds? Of course not, it was never the idea behind this suggestion so please, forgive me if I mislead anyone here.
  11. That's just awesome man, I can just imagine all the masking work on that thing...
  12. Thanks for your input my friend and sorry for offending you....
  13. Casey, you got me, didn't think anyone would notice... Thank you for your comments fellas, greatly appreciated!!
  14. I like everything, as long as is not donks or anything with huge rims. I like being versatile but if I had to chose, I would be more traditional. I am 50 but have always had the same tastes when it comes to cars!
  15. Very cool setup mike, I like it. I personally don't have enough room, I build in a little corner of my laundry room and had a similar setup as you. I do have a few shelves next to me and came up with an idea. I removed a few of the models I had in the space, now I have a cool setup that will be stationary!

  18. Thanks for the response guys, it's really a simple petition for your benefit, it truly does make a difference to the people that are actually looking at the pictures and it's a bit more professional. Personally I am in the process of learning a few photographic techniques and still have a lot to learn but I am a lot more happy with my pictures nowadays than ever before.

  20. Guys, I have noticed that a lot of you take pictures of your models with a cluttered or messy background. It only takes a few minutes to place some sort of construction paper in the background and show us your stuff in a better mode. It truly makes a difference and it doesn't cost anything even if you use a cheap camera. Thank you!!
  21. Looks great, I love these cars. My advice to you, for the next time, try taking pictures without the mess in the background, not only will they come out better but people will focus on the car more!
  22. As requested, some pictures of the engine, interior and chassis. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  23. Thank you for your replies fellas, I am extremely appreciative of your comments and also very glad you liked it. I am currently writing this from my smart phone but as soon as I get a chance I will post some pictures of the engine, chassis and interior. Again, thanks!
  24. This is awesome my friend, the color in conjunction with the scallops looks awesome, great stance too!!!
