  1. I also use the engine black, always thought it was the perfect shade and color to use when deciding on a black interior. Hosted on Fotki

Looks cool man, and don't worry about critisicm, it will only make you a better builder, I bet the next one you do will look much better. I am sure he didn't say that to make you feel bad even though I think he should have gone about it a little better. I for one consider myself more old school, your choice of rims looks cool but I personally would have gone another route but hey, this is how you and some other people like it and that's what matters. Color choice is also beautiful even though I would have preferred a non metallic color but again, it does look great. One little word of advice, try working on your panel lines, they really do make a model stand out. These are little issues that we all here learn with time and if I tell you that it all looks perfect, I don't think I would be helping you. You have great potential to be an outstanding modeler. The engine bay by the way? Looks phenomenal!!

  15. Good question! I come pretty much every day, I have the kind of job that keeps me in the office most of the day so I always have time to come in, see, comment and enjoy. I do share a lot of my work here also, it's one of the things that keeps me motivated apart from the 2 clubs that I belong to.
  16. Cool project but can I give you a good word of advice? No biggy, just make sure to take the pictures with a blank background, this way, not only will your pictures turn out a little bit more in focus but it will keep everyone's eyes more on the subject at hand. And I don't mean to say that you have a mess on your table so please, don't misunderstand me....
  17. That's no problem my friend, just mix MM clear to flat black until you are satisfied with the shade.
  18. I like using engine black from either floquil I believe or poly scale, the black on the front part of the dash along with the steering wheel are gloss black, a lot of these cars had different shades of black in the interior. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
