  1. hey Jake, let me take a llook and see what i can come up with. if you can think of anything else you need, send me a pm with a list. even if you want to do a few things over, i have a pretty big stash of parts. i should be able to help you out a little.
  2. yea, thats my goal too, 24 new projects a year....... what...... oh, finished, not started....... nevermind!! dude, thats crazy!!! are you married? have kids?
  3. I try to keep my completed builds even with the influx of new kits............. not workiing....... not working one bit!!
  4. looking killer! like the rims better than the first set. good choice.
  5. WOW!!! i have not even seen a quarter of those movies. and if i did, i would not remember plates... you guys certainly pick out the details!
  6. i've learned that i still can't get to the bench with all the ###### stuffed in my area. i've learned that i still can't cant finish a build without starting 3 others. i've learned that i'm lazy and have not used my new air brush that is 3+ years old. i've learned that i still have not completed a build this year. these, unfortunatly are not jokes, these are actual facts!!
  7. nice looking mopar. clean build.
  8. AWESOME!!!! thanks for taking the time and pictures!! old or new builds, don't matter. that lineup is cool! i remember back then, when you saw those white cars with the big ol red lettering coming........ AWESOME!! and Ron, did i notice some nascars in that first picture? hmmmmmmm.......
  9. great start! will be a neat build.......... but i'd pro street it!!
  10. thanks for all your help. i will try all avenues suggested. i did not mean to stir up any contraversy. not looking to build a dead nuts car, just cant build anything out of the box. thought one of these would make a neat car you dont see every day.
  11. beautiful build. as a mopar lover, there is not enough rust on this bee. must have been sitting inside. pulled my 69 hemi runner out of a warehouse, flat towed it 50 miles home back in '80. got any more picts of the tow vehicle?
  12. anyone have any contact with him? last time i talked to him had to be 6 years ago, he was having health problems, i remember that. any iinfo would be greatly appreciated.
  13. thanks everyone for the info.
  14. hey Jake, i am about 45 minutes dead south of you near Streetsboro. we are on the fringe of that snow belt and i know you guys get pounded every year. that ford sounds killer, keep us updated.
  15. does that van have all the refridge and bed and stuff on the inside? that van rocks!!! nice score.
  16. im southeast of Cleveland and we had 50 to 60 mph winds last night, sustained wind today of 30 to 40 mph and it hasn't stopped raining since saturday. nothing compared to the coast, but it shows how far this one is getting inland. i hope the damage in minimal to none for all and everyone is safe.
  17. good luck to everyone in the path! be safe!!
  18. beautiful!!! not to impose, but can we get a shot of all these RAMCHARGER cars together? pretty please....
  19. nice build Ron! love those Ramchargers!!!!
  20. sweet! beautiful build. you just cant go wrong with great basic building skills. bad thing is, i sold 90% of my johan kits years ago..... now i want them back after seeing this!!!
  21. nice job on that stretch! filled in your caps real nice. that is the same place i did mine, but i wiped out the body molding when i sanded it down. be careful. i know cut ABOVE the bodyline and have a little more area to sans in without screwing up that line. stretching that wheelwell looks killer when done right.
  22. i really love this build Roger, looking really good. a little too late but the 69 GTX kit has a 440-6 motor in it. so does the stock version of the 70 super bee. yours looks real good, that intake fits pretty good, good choice on the duster 6 pack also. sometimes you have to work with what you got. not to hold you up on your build like the stupid articles i promised you (they are coming, soon i hope) but i have a few of the 69 johan interiors, it came with 70 front seats so that would not work, but the tub, dash, steering wheel and back seat you may be able to use. who knows when i will ever use them.send me a pm and your addy if you want them. and what Bill said...... "Just wait till they get older. Bench time doesn't get any easier to find . Trust me, mine are 15 + 12 . Everyday we are taking one or the other to some activity" .......aint no lie! just my 10 (11 on Christmas day) year old has basketball practice, baseball practice and bowls. we are going somewhere every day of the week. and yes, i said baseball practice, twice a week in a gym till march, then we head outside 4 days a week. wouldn't give it up for the world!!!
  23. ... putting together a nascar kit. i am a drag/pro street kind of guy but would like to dabble in the nascar world. not really into the modern stuff so i was thinking on a fictional 70 coronet or maybe a 67 coronet or GTX/belvedere. i have a couple of 69 pro modeler daytonas that i think the nascar parts in there would work on the 70 coronet, but what about the 67 cars? can i use the parts from the same daytona for these? i also have a few of the 64 plymouth lindburg nascar. would like to build that one though. any suggestions would be helpful. maybe some shots of your built cars from this era. thanks in advance Tubbs
  24. beautiful!! something i have never tackled....
