  1. Well I know what it is, but it must be very confusing for the American contingent. Give some clues.
  2. I don't know how I missed this one JC, great work. That SOHC looks very nice. I have a Model King repop, it's probably the only one in Ireland I'd imagine. Keep going!
  3. Beautiful paintwork.
  4. Never seen an Iso Grifo kit. Gene.
  5. Great to see a young chap building models Aidan.
  6. We must get in touch, there was a young guy from Armagh, but I haven't seen him for ages. Shay.
  7. We'll just have to assume it's a new tool, because it'll be obvious when the pics come out.
  8. Very nice William, where in our 32 Counties do you shout for?
  9. The Capri obviously has a modified V6 JC, but I've never seen an RS 2600 ( Cologne German V6) or an RS 3100 { Essex English V6) without twin headlights,it must be a very early pre production version.
  10. Never knew they rallied Capris JC! https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/reportage/walter-roehrl-und-sein-ford-capri-rs-sprungbrett-fueer-eine-weltkarriere/
  11. Yes, but the amt kit is a Mk2 Capri with a hatchback, so it's a different bodyshell. It's also debatable if the Academy kit is actually an RS 2600 with a duck tail spoiler.
  12. Keep us posted JC!
  13. I was talking to George recently, I asked if I could send over a styrene bumper to get plated. No problem he says, I'm sending stuff out in a couple of days. I said it would take a week to get it over from Dublin to Detroit. He actually raided an old jo-han Eldorado in his own stash and sent it off instead. He just got me to post my one over to him because it would be faster to get the plated one back to me. That's how good George is!
  14. it only took 50 plus years for them to figure that one out! I assume there's Cayman bits in there?
  15. I never knew about that JC, I've wondered for years if they ever try it. Is the car any good?
  16. Excellent work JC. Make the lights detachable? Nice to see the cut outs on the nose.
  17. Why they never turned the engine and gearbox around and made mid engined versions for competition at least I'll never understand.
  18. The Zackspeed is is like unobtanium Curt, Frank Cannon couldn't find one! lol
  19. 1/43, there are a couple of 1/18 diecasts out there too. http://www.trofeumodels.com/trofeu/t-escort2.htm
  20. I fired off an email to Italeri asking if they have the molds. Italy is an hour ahead of me so the office would have been shut, 7 pm their time. If I hear anything back I'll let you know. Had a look at the Reji site, €130 for a trans kit? That's 148 bucks in your money give or take..... Oh, and apologies to our Aussie friend for the Hi-jack of the thread!
  21. Sorry, I meant Italeri JC I wonder if the Zackspeed molds are long gone, could someone resin cast it without copyright issues?
  22. JC, do you have any idea iif Hasegawa would have the molds for the Zackspeed version as well, Revell never repopped it as we all know. Shay.
  23. I thick Derek Bell has one of those JC. Great project, best of luck.
  24. Not a fan of stanced cars Guy, but it's very nicely finished. The paint and espcially the black trim are very nice. Shay.
