I like promos but never sent it....its a mystery?

That is one of the reasons I have always just painted the trim on mine...the other is its not easy to get around here...or anything else for that matter.

I take some old builds apart that I find but only done it to a few of my own builds...from my childhood...thinking I can do better this time on them and many of my dads oldies and mine were damaged once by a small tornado we had so I have to...if I ever find the needed parts Id be busy for years.

I have always liked the old school look of this kit...old trucks that were nothing but brute workhorses.

I have the(mini motor home)and stock Chevy window van from my dads old collection been trying to restore was hoping the new release had the original options too....bummer!...there great kits! My mini motor home one needs the raise roof parts and glass...other is rough..they also had opening hoods.

Ray...the problem with some as you sated is they never had to get what ever they could find or afford to work on...some people forget what its like to have a very small or a lack of a real budget to work with...I never will...some of my best were considered junk(2 of which are in my photobucket here under my profile)a Plymouth wagon and 64 Chevy junkyard pickup--both were warped so badly its not funny. I take comments at face value just that...I can learn from them but would never put anyone or their work down they might surprise me with what they make from it. A good builder will learn from each build and get better as they gain experience and new skills...besides everyone has to start somewhere.

I am with Ray and Mark here...the site links us addicted to plastic and the love of the build rather it be a prize winner or not. Its great to see others work and learn from it even though i have been building 40+ years i still do. Its also great to meet friends with the same interests and share our passions.

Hi Joe...very very sorry for your losses and the kind of year you have been having...my prayers are with you all as always buddy. You have so many brothers in plastic who are more than willing to be there for you....me included. I myself had had very rough times...building and brother builders are a great resource and comfort in these times that challenge us. keep the faith brother.

I have several and some unknown...Slusher,PlasticFrog,Partsmarty,JPhillips,EShaver,Oldman23, and many more helped without ever expecting anything...some even helped me get project kits for my disabled model builders group I started for a group of guys...I never expect anything form them ether but learn a lot from them just the same.
