  15. Thanks John, first fine day for a while so I threw some paint at it today, first colour is a dark purple nail polish well that didnt come out very dark........so I put some candy purple over it started on the frame hopefully I can put the flames on tomorrow (using the ones from the revell merc special edition, they're pretty close).
  16. The pic looks like the cowls been built up a little in the middle of the screen area (where the wipers are on the model) giving it more of a more chopped than what is look. I think . Low, body works looking great man, keep it up, will be watching your progress on this
  17. Very cool ! When I first saw the hint of the vents I was wondering how the heck did he do those. Next set had the answer, ingenious !
  18. Very nice man !!! that came out perfectly
  19. just caught this not to much, pretty sure it was just trim the back of the floor pan
  20. Thanks guys, the stude will be white (pestilence) and death the pale hose (greenish white) was going to be the late model revell olds (prostocker) upgraded to a blown doorslammer, kinda undecided on body style at the moment. Have a lot of kits to choose from but some cars wont look right in that color . Clay, I generally use the revell T S (top sportsman) kits as the basis for all my builds, done a couple of brass chassis that I'm pretty happy with but cant seem to scratch a styrene one for the life of me (and I have some great detailed plans ). Heres a stude I've done previously using that doner
  21. I use publisher from microsofts 2003 office suite as thats what I have, heres a sampling of what you can do, though note I have not printed out the singluar letter style names as yet as Wayne said lots of fun, just a few niggles to work out from this end
  22. Thanks John, I,m not going to be very helpful I'm sorry, the decal paper I got locally online and it comes in an unmarked packet with typed instructions with no clue as to which brand they are. They are the 11x8.5 " sheets in white though clear is available. And I printed them on the wife's Brother multifuction on photo quality ,glossy papaer as thats what the instructions said to do. I have previously used my Epson stylus with no problems but it has issues printing documents from publisher. Sorry this probably wasnt much help, just ask if there's anything else

  25. Almost time for my clubs annual Hot Wheels night (9th June), so I thought I'd better start my car. Couldnt get anything close to what I wanted to do originally so looking through the stash I found this likely victim. 30 minutes later and about an hour after that I called it a night need to work on the spill plates for the wing but pretty happy for a couple hours work
