  4. very cool Chris, cant wait to see it with the decals on
  5. Box stock, kinda/ mostly Think I got a bit burned out after the heavy chevys, still having a bit of trouble with my arms as well so thought I'ld start a nice easy box stock to get me going. Mocked it up, and wondered who had swapped the suspension with a 4x4 hilux. so out came the razor saw and dremel not that it looks like much in the pics 4 or so mms isnt too bad Going with a dark red, black interior, Baldwin Motion stripes if they work. no interior pics but its just semi gloss black, bmf handles and black flocking on the floor and no pics of engine yet either ( i forgot)
  6. Better and better each time bro
  7. Mike, Chris has been revamping a lot of their products from what I understand and will reisit them with some great new stuff when he's ready, which should be within the next week or so.

  15. why not simple like seeveeR's Comet or just Reevees Comet ?, most comets are named aftrer those who discovered them why not after those who built one ?

  17. very very cool Wayne
  18. Dont have a lot of green ones either Well that ended up being more than I thought
  19. Thanks guys Chris, sorry if I confused you, I meant slammer as in Top Door Slammer the Aussie/Kiwi equivalent to Pro Mod. It will be detailed about the same amount as my chevelle , hope this clears it up for anyone who's a bit confused about it.
  20. Sorry I meant wheel arch not guards, but its not hard to do and if you want accurate . I thought it was probably going to be there. Am going to make a doorslammer out of mine but dont want to open the box cause it'll just start another project and I already have too many of those lined up for the foreseeable future. Good luck,we'll be watching
  21. Started this in November 09, well the mockup and the paint anyway. Drug it back to the bench a couple of days ago and decided to bite the bullet and try to get it done this time. Paint is a DuPont red with red nail polish top coat on a Boyds coupster body. Resin funnycar engine etc with modified revell top sportsman chassis and tin. gonna flame it once I get all the ton of trial fitting done.Have to scratch most of the cage as this is pretty narrow inside. I want to get a few doorslammer builds done this year and this one is the test bed for the next (a modern interpretation of a SWC willys)
  22. Micheal, where does the nose need to be lengthened? Behind or in front of the guards? its not that hard to do ,make the cut add some strip styrene and its done. I did this about three years ago http://img.photobuck...sideprimer3.jpg front was lengthened 6 scale inches, cant remember the rear offhand
  23. You know what I like most about your builds John? the fact that the finishes are so realistic, that you gotta look twice to make sure it is indeed the model you're looking at . Awesome work as usual !
