Gee Bob I thought you liked mine . Great job Ted, your detailing looks great (as does the whole car ). Nice in black and agree its nice to see one with nice wheels
  3. NICE 1 ! Are the wheels from the 55 chev kit the decals came from ? Cause if they are they look great detail painted like that
  4. WOW, Very very nice mate !
  5. What to add? not much that hasnt been said I think, stunning build mate!
  6. Cool ,my favorite of all the blue max cars, great job on it. I didn't know AMT had ever done this body style ,though I'll get the competition resins one when I do mine
  7. Thats grouse Mitch, I'm sure your dad will love it
  8. very cool mate, love the paint job on this car
  9. I like it ! and its a plastic model ( a pretty crappy plastic model by all accounts) so build it how you would like it Walt, (I'ld go for the st rod though ).
  10. Beautiful job Bob !
  11. Thanks Bob,dunno why man ,your builds look great. Biggest issue is that revell stuffed up the decals, on most if not all the pics I now have of this car there should be 5 white stripes. I dont know if Slixx do them or not but separating the go navy from the white stripes would be my biggest fear.
  12. Thanks guys, havent really done much, been busy doing stuff I'ld rather not be doing . Did get the hat detailed and pulleys and belt done , mags been installed since these pics, front and rear glass is done as are the chutes. Need to make up some side windows and fuel system.
  13. Great job Niko! I like that color but from here it looks orange
  14. Awesome work as always T.
  15. Thanks Matt, Very cool man
  16. Awesome Mitch
  17. looks good watch out for clearance issues once the glass goes in
  18. got some color on this morning and just finished starting the decals if that makes sense , Green , is green nice?
  19. thought he next one may seem a little odd for me, all will be reveled soon
  20. Well at least you'ld know each kits faults and how to fix them. . Do you have a closeup of one of each of the different paintjobs? nethertheless I've seen your work and know they'll be outstanding
  21. Looks GOOD Don, keep it up
  22. Thanks guys, I primed it all last night so will give it a final sand today.I suppose I should decide on a color and if its gonna have any graphics at all . Still plan on doing a twin turbo Chevelle but that will be a 70 with a "stock" style paint job
  23. geez Niko ! what have you one? lol I have one of those skyhawks and pro sportsman kits The only current" tube" frame kits are indeed the Revell 55 and 57 chevy top sportsman kits, other sources are the Revell pontiac and oldsmobile prostocks though those are getting harder to find. Most are easily enough adapted to fit any other kits though you will have to do a bit of scratch building to bring any of them up to current specs. Thumper who builds on here, scratchbuilds the best space frame I've seen,I believe its one of his on Phil Hibblers build.
  24. Buh! its a race car I've installed them and will mold them in and mask before I paint. There's a bit going on around that rearend now and once the chutes and chute lines are on, it will help detract attention away anyway (I hope lmao). Wasn't sure if you were aware, so its cool you already knew, hate to see someone get there after paint is all.
  25. Greg, MAKE sure you check the fit of the tail lights, on mine the right ones pretty good but the left......man there's going to be some work there
