  2. I'm ready for the love brother lol, I took these pics 3 years ago (slipped my mind duh) couple more pics here (my new pb) http://s1188.photobucket.com/albums/z410/doorslammerfan/ 73/4 vega no less running bbc but built as close to the old specs as possible
  3. Hey Chris,, I didn't realaise how rare, rear end shots sans body of these things are anyways one of the best I've found is Straightline modellers "snake pit" http://www.straightlinemodeler.org/snakepit.html hope these help a bit, meanwhile I'll keep looking
  4. That looks awesome man !
  5. I'm with Bob and -Chris but I would be happy with any of the 80's pro stock its as well but the real no brainer to me is the lack of Pro Mod kits. Sure theres a ton of aftermarket body styles out there but unless you can scratchbuild you're out of luck for a current chassis. Think of all that would buy them for that alone, they would only need generic decals like the model king firebird. heck I'ld buy dozens by myself.
  6. What specifically do you want pics of ? I have no record of where I've found stuff online but do have a lot stored on my pc, I dont mind sharing it with credit to original media owner but are'nt uploading heaps of unnecessary stuff. Chassis was black.

  8. This turned out NICE man! great job.
  9. Thanks again guys
  10. Dave, I like the plastic tube idea ( much safer I think) but what if you thinned down the outer wall thickness with sandpaper and a drill before cutting to length and installing?
  11. Thanks , tree came from the old AMT 72 GTO , ( that kit had to be good for something )
  12. Thanks, John you sure know how to give someone a big head , so special thanks for that. Just trying to improve with each build.

  17. Thanks guys, did a bit more decaling last night, kinda finishes it off I think. Tom, window frames are done freehand, cut the point off a toothpick for the fasteners. New pics soon
  18. I like it ! Gonna go for third time lucky or take a break from the Platt car?
  19. Outstanding bro !!! Pure eye candy
  20. I think it looks pretty good. This is a bear of a kit to foil, and race cars from the earlier era didn't have super shiny paint anyway. oops one thing to add, cut the foil in the door lines, makes it look much more realistic
  21. Thanks T , not much to do now
  22. Paints gonna look cool when you're done with it Danny
  23. Dont think you'll learn much from this reply Don, but its looking good bud, keep it up !
