  3. try baby oil (from the bottle not squeezed from babies ) or a light cooking oil. Several applications maybe needed but it should break it down.

  8. Yep started another one , this time the AMT curbside, again out of the box with a bit of detail painting. Colour is Duplicolor Metalspecks purple. Got to give hood and top of front guards a light rub back as I got a little heavy(read runs) at the base of the windscreen (man I hate rattle cans, give me an airbrush any day), does give a nice shine though

Jada kit, thread in on the workbench most if not all I've seen have the headlight pod body colour but I think it looks better silver, as you can see and I didn't notice till posting the pics a little repair is needed around one of the lights cause I didn't check the instructions and had to remove the pod for the glass to come in from the bottom 1st

    69 Charger 500

Really nice build Lee, I like that shade of green and its great to see a charger build that just a little bit different.
  12. Thanks Earl ( I think ), color is Tamiya TS12 orange with TS 65 Pearl clear over top. Mixed up some candy orange( SEMS candy apple red and candy yellow) and laid that over top yesterday, cleared last night. Not quite as dark as I'd hoped but I quite like how its come out. finished the interior and engine bay installed interior and glass, not far to go now

  14. You're doing some great work here man,yet to see anything I would change
  15. Great work Danny ! big thumbs up
  16. Jada kit, so parts count is a little low, fit is dang near perfect. Box stock, gave it a light rub with some 1200 last night, primed before I went out this morning, painted when I got home this afternoon. straight out of the Tamiya can Tamiya pearl clear trying to decide whether to put a candy orange over the top as it will darken it a little and accentuates the pearl underneath.
  17. thanks guys,as you will see I got it done. used thin clear acetate as a template then thicker blister pack for the actual windows.
  18. Great looking build Walter
