  1. Is this the Italeri / Fujimi kit from years ago? The one with a zillion parts? This looks great!
  2. This may be the best that old Tamiya kit has ever looked. Nice work!
  3. Great score! And yeah, I watched it, too. I think my Mom let me watch it b/c nobody actually got hurt / killed and there was no cussin'. My Dad preferred Hee Haw. Anywho ... sure wish they'd reissue this kit, if it's possible.
  4. Loving the concept! I've thought of doing the same thing - new, old and worn out, restored. Never could decide what car to use, though. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress!
  5. Impressive work! Really enjoying this!
  6. That is most impressive! Thanks for sharing.
  7. It's the first I've seen completed, and I think it looks great!
  8. Agreed, very, very well done. I'm currently working on the "plain jane" 924 Turbo. The nose and tail are a bit challenging to get lined up. If I can get it to look 1/2 as good as yours - I'll be most happy.
  9. Really excellent work!
  10. Wow! Most impressive!
  11. Bringing this thread back (sorry!), has anyone actually built the most recent Berlin Wall version of this? I have the kit, and it appears that the entire outer part of the car is done by decals. What I'm not clear on is ... will any of the body color show along the edges, etc.? So, I was wondering if anyone has taken a stab at the kit yet?
  12. I'm glad this bounced back up to the top! You did a nice job on a kit that I'm not sure I've ever actually seen completed. I'm now inspired to attempt to finish the one I nearly completed a long time ago.
  13. wow!
  14. For the interior - did you spray the acrylics? If so, how did you thin them? I'm just curious, because I'd like to use more acrylics. Looks real nice! thanks!
  15. The one car I'd trade the ol' RX-7 for. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
  16. He has/had some nice stuff. I hope everything is okay.
  17. My copy arrived today. WOW! Might have to clear the bench right away!
  18. Is that a "car phone" antenna there? Cool!
  19. Crazy! I like it. I hope your Dad is doing well.
  20. This is so awesome! Excellent work!
  21. Nice work! For whatever reason, that car always looks best in blue! I have one on the bench at the moment in Tamiya Mica Blue. Still some details to go, but your rendition is amazing.
  22. That's really cool!
  23. That's cool! You should put it under a black light (or perhaps a blue LED) to see if it'll photograph well for us to see!
  24. Cool ideas!
