  1. My sentiments, exactly. Like a monkey barfed everywhere.
  2. most cool.
  3. I don't know of a kit, at least not one that is easy to get a hold of. But...everybody loves a Cobra!
  4. Yeah, Ira could be the next Tom Daniel for Monogram!
  5. This is why I visit this forum every day - when the boss ain't lookin'! Ira, as always - impressive!!!
  6. That thing is disgusting! Well done!
  7. This is beautiful work! I'm glad you posted. How hard was it to get that resin body to work w/ the kit parts?
  8. Oh boy! I'm going to have to dig this out of my stash. Looking forward to seeing this build. Nice work!
  9. I love seeing Ira's work! You, Sir, are an Plastic Artist of the Highest Degree.
  10. Say, Vitan - how's your RX-7 coming?
  11. Exactly. I'll be buying one. Or two. Or three....
  12. An excellent song. I was just listening to the Dirty Boogie album the other day. Switchblade 327! Lit cigarette in his hand. Steel toed boots on the accelerator. Oil leakin' outta the pan. Switchblade, three two barrels. Gettin' there as fast as he can. All juiced up like a hot carburetor. Spittin' gas onto the fan. Blacktop burnout, Saturday night. Try to catch him if you can.
  13. Nice work. That, and the S-10 sister kits, is a fun kit to build/modify. Here's my take, not to hijack your thread or anything.
  14. Nice Wankel. Which kit did you start with? The body looks like the old Monogram kit, but that one has a nice little 12a in it. You said you started w/o an engine. Very nice scratch building, but the way. Bet this joker's loud!
  15. Wow! I mean WOW!!! The roof is just icing on the cake! That is amazing. Congratulations on a most excellent build. You, sir, are an artist!
  16. Yep, the kit is amazing! How can I get some of those fantastic 13" OEM wheels? (PM me if necessary) thank THANK YOU!!
  17. WOW! That's amazing! How long did it take you to do that? I mean WOW!
  18. Yep, they are the 13" "plus mark" wheels, just like in your drawing. Your work is fantastic - I continue to be amazed.
  19. I certainly haven't forgotten! I've got a 1985 in the garage right now. Oh, I mentioned that before. This looks great! Can you do these wheels? The ones in the drawing you show here? I'd sure love to build a replica of my car. It's all stock. I'm guessing you used a 3-d tool for the wheels you've done; which are beautiful!
  20. Since we're talking about the 1958 Corvette here..... The '58, as built by me from the first release of this kit back in the Pro Modeler days. Now, I ain't the best builder by any stretch; but I had fun putting this one together. I have at least one more in my stash o' shame to be completed "one of these days". As I recall, it was a nice kit. Please, pardon the dust.
  21. There is a GREAT modeling club in Fayetteville, but that's quite the haul from where you are. Check out Hayes Hobby House in Fayetteville. And, Lafayette Scale Modelers meet there once a month. I now live in Durham, so I don't go to the meetings, but I get to Hayes Hobby House every change I get. http://www.hayeshobby.com/ http://lafayettescalemodelers.wordpress.com/
