  1. It's a thing of beauty and a work of art with unlimited potential. I've got plans a cookin' for when I get mine. Muahahahahaha !!!!!!
  2. All great ideas, but what about using masking tape to make a mask or use thinner as a diet aid ?? Can you use polish to make Polish sausage ??
  3. So Ira, you live in Sonoma County huh ?? Who says the wineries don't give off toxic fumes ?? Break's over, back to work on the Willys !! Kudos sir, everything came out just right. Only seek professional help if you deem it necessary.......
  4. The first person on my list is, of course, Greg for making this board and the forums here the bestest and onlyest place to post my stuff. Gonna do my second one now too, because if it wasn't for me seeing John Teresi's builds and being inspired to try to be half as good as he is, I wouldn't be here today. Merry Christmas to All and a Most Prosperus New Year to come.
  5. Awww schucks Art. Just like with gurlz; every once in a while I get lucky.
  6. Outstanding Artsmanship !! That's not a word according to my spellchecker. Guess I gotta call Webster and submit it with a pic of your build.
  7. Well worth the effort !!
  8. Lucrative? I guess so since that works out to 1 build every 6 1/2 weeks. I'm close with 6 builds, but I didn't start building until March. However, in a head to head match on quality, you still win 'cuz you'd have to cut my builds in half to even come close to your stuff. It's been a pleasure "discovering" you and watching the past year.
  9. Out Freaking Standing
  10. This has been an incredible history lesson on the Hemi, my most beloved engine and I thank all who participated with genuine facts. Now that we've got that handled Art, any word from Dave when he might give the okiedokie to post pics of the final test parts that started this in the first place ??
  11. I'm beyond ready for this one Charlie. I was already bouncing off the walls when you were getting reference pics.
  12. Nice to have an authourity on the subject chime in Jim. Thanx for clearing up the speculation. Tell Tom we all said Hello and Merry Christmas.
  13. Ira, after looking at your web site, I'm floored. That is an amazing collection of one of a kind builds. On the scary side, you could be my twin except you're the one that got to keep some hair. Build on Brother, build on !!
  14. Genuinely awe inspiring John. What a pleasure to tune in and watch the magic happen.
  15. I hope y'all appreciate the pain, suffering and anguish I'm enduring to do all of this. If my head explodes I'm not taking the blame. Seriously, my cold is 90% under control and the engine is 90% done. Soon I'll be able to work on something less tedious and agonizing, like maybe the pilot fer instance. There may be some fitment issues that cause me to change bodies, but if I do it'll still be topless. Hope ya like what ya see. Arghhh. Just noticed a couple of beads popped out of place on the fuel distribution blocks. I'll get to that too......
  16. This cold still has it's lethargic grip on all of my physical attributes, however, I did manage to get some more work done on the fuel lines and wiring. I don't recommend doing "head down" work while sinuses attempt to explode your eyes. While solder is easy to work with, bending-wise, I think I'll try beading wire next time as it should make for straighter lines. Injectors are next, after I install the blower restraint belts. I think you'll approve of my belt material choice. Enjoy and thanx for looking.......
  17. I'll get 4 just for the figures and trees. Yipeeee !!
  18. Amazing progress in such a short amount of time. So many kewl add-ons.
  19. Better and better. Luvin' the wood floor and other wood added.
  20. This is incredible Jon. You've got some mad machining skills sir. Your whole model is the size of the engine I'm working on. May I point out a couple of tiny (pun intended) items? The slicks could be bigger and I love the metalflake on the body, but on the blower and air scoop, not so much. Please do more cuz I love insane builds like that. Kudos.
  21. An itty - bitty bit more progress. Feeling a cold coming on, ughhhh. Shoulda listened to Dr. Cranky about the vitamins. Found some .025 solder at Fry's Electronics that fits the .030 (11/0) beads. Veeery tight fit at the fuel distribution blocks, but, it worked. Wooooot !! Also got the restraint harness brackets done. After the fuel lines are done I'll get to the wiring and get the blower belt & guard installed. Ughhhh, bedtime. Nyquil, do yer stuff.
  22. This is probably the best source you'll find. Emulating this build would be the way to go. Sorry no one else responded, but if you will be more open with us, we'll be more open with you. It's a family around here and you're welcome to join in. Heli Hemi
  23. Your first response to your question violates the spirit of the topic 'cuz I haven't built a gasser since I've started building again back in March, ergo, no Eyegore eye candy. However, when I do get to a gasser, and I will, it will be TOTALLY off the gasser hook. Nothing normal for me as most of you know. I have a couple of ideas rattling around in what's left of my grey matter. It will have MOPAR power, but not necessarily a Dodge / Chrysler / Plymouth body. Then again, isn't there a Chrysler 300 on the Polar Lights drawing board? It'll be a highboy too; no taildraggers for me. lol Hopefully, someone will post pics that will amaze and inspire me. Gotta finish the Topless Terror, then the Deora with the trailer and Charlie Allen car. Maybe after that. Then again, I did start a 2009 Challenger Hemi Under Glass.........
  24. A little more motor work done today with the fuel block almost done. Still need to add the fuel pump feed tubing to each of the four tube sections. Also got the holes drilled in the heads and the grooves cut out on the top of the blower to fit the blower restraint wires. Yeah, I would like to have a PE set up, but funds go to the GrandBratz at this time of year. Oughta go together pretty easy once all the mock up is finished. Will be working on beading the intake and injector lines tonite. That'll be fun. Anybody have a 10,000 X magnifier I can borrow?
