  7. Small update before heading out of town to ride a 4 wheeler and then relax in a hot tub Interior is started. I am not quite done yet but I figured I'd show some progress. Enjoy! (sorry about the hair that got in there, I saw it while uploading pics. )
  8. Next up is the steam engine from the GCR. It's a 1906 American Locomotive Co. 2-8-0. This engine pulled the train from Williams, Arizona to the Grand Canyon for years before the Alco units arrived. I think she is down now do to the boiler is in need of overhaul. I hopw to ask these guys for more pictures from the yard. They have another steam engine and from the freeway I could tell they have VIA F or E unit in storage. Enjoy!
  9. Thanks Dave I was not very happy with the shocks myself. I did not want them to be yellow and I normally make my shocks red since I loved my Edlebrock shocks on one of my real rides. Those are normally solid red but in the same breathe I wanted the chrome. I like the aluminum idea as I don't like the way these look. Thanks for pointing it out while I have a chance still to paint them.
  10. Nice project! I have always wanted to make one either from a resin body, or kit bashing an Olds front end with maybe a Chevelle wagon. I'm watching for sure!
  11. Here is a few more and some odds and ends.... enjoy! BNSF Ballast car... Grand Canyon car framed by a bridge.... This caboose is actually a hotel room! Clock in Williams at the station Old water tower in Ash Fork. ( Remains of Santa Fe passenger service)
  12. Here is some pictures from the Grand Canyon Railroad for you passneger and steam fans! I'll start off with the passenger cars which are currently pulled by ex-Amtrak F40's
  13. Yeah I think I'm going to try to fix it. I already sanded the parts down well on this one. I forgot to bondo this one. To the naked eye it seamed like the Plastistruct melted it together well enough but the paint showed the seam anyway.
  14. I was thinking along those lines too. I was originally going to put it in the bed but its so small as it is....
  15. Well here is an update. I haven't had the time to do much on it yet. I have the engine mostly done. Ignition wires and boots are made ( I see I have to fix a boot) Chrome parts that were taped in the previous pics are now glued. Engine is actually in place but the headers come later. I also need to run fuel. I plan on running battery cables to after I find a place to put one I've started the bed to it too and more soon.
  16. Well I guess it's a really good thing that we now have an "Other" section cause my free model fairy stopped by again and left me this.... I loved this show and had no clue there were kits from it.
  17. Man another great score. I want one of thos Yodel kits some day. Of course they are on Ebay cheap when I have no money and when I have money there is no cheap ones.
  18. A couple more.... Check out the green and wood panel
  19. Here is some from the Mopar files that I haven't posted yet. Up first is a couple of big players Cuda and a Challenger. I thought this looked like a model. I haven't seen a 1:1 have a trailer like the kit And a mix..
