  1. Never knew about the mini Warlock's so thanks for the pic B and thanks for the info Nick. I had a 89 Dakota long bed and man that would have been a cool " replica"
  2. Not really the right year but it's full of ideas Game car I made.
  3. You have one of my holy grails!!! Based on what you see me build you'd never guess it's that Honda Prelude! I want that kit or a kit like it sooooo bad. I owned a direct imported 1992 Prelude that was fast as heck! I had it to 140mph in 4th gear and it was a 5 speed. I live in Phoenix which is horrible for theft. It was stolen 3 times and all 3 times I recovered it. It was damaged in the front end the last time so I sold it for more than what I paid for it but have been looking for a kit like that to make my replica. Great stash man!
  4. Very nice choppers. Ones not seen often too! Great job and thanks for sharing them.
  5. Wow thats bright! Nice plane Is the body BMF or Alclad? Either way its beautiful.
  6. Great looking model! It does belong here in the other model section. I love the whole over all look and its a cool topic. I love the Five Finger Death Punch cover and video. I have seen them live 3 times and have hung out with them. My favorite newer rock band by far and my favorite song from them is a tie between The Bleeding and Death before Dishonor. Cool set up and nice work
  7. Thanks bud! I was thinking around those lines but brain farted. That one I picked up for around $30 and it pulls like a champ. Has Kadees on it but the roof visors fell off. Some rails are warped and need replaced. I want to detail it and get one more just like it to make a BNSF patched unit.
  8. Really cool Camper Rob. I would really hate to change the tire though. Is that a Corvair Van front end?
  9. Awesome! Thats exactly why I want a few of these. I want to make a few stocks too. Beautiful work on a car that I know you have a passion for like me. Not many of us out there on this body style
  10. Cool little project! I had an 86 Wolfsburg edition.
  11. Thats looking really good and really fast so far! How did you do the headlights and grille? I have a car I'm thinking of doing that on since they do not make the kind of car I'm going to do. I like this one so far
  12. I love these rail guns. The whole military train idea is really cool. Nice work on creating your own. I know the very small amount of kits i've seen are very pricey locally. Great job!
  13. I figure maybe I'll start this with some of my H.O. Scale trains that are some of my favorites. I do intend to detail and weather a lot of my stuff. Actually I never thought I had what it takes but I have learned so much here at MCM that now I can apply it here to my other "models" I hope you like them. First up is one I stole off ebay for dirt cheap.... BNSF C44-9 from Athern Santa Fe, I don't remember the type By Spectrum Santa Fe GP38-2 by Athern. I bought this one when I was 16. Southern Pacific C44-9 by Athern Soo Lines GP38-2 by Athern. Another one I bought at 16. I need to restore her. CRI&P switcher (Dummy) by Athern. This is a thrift store find I plan on restoring. CRI&P GP-9 by RSO. Thrift store find. Southern Pacific Daylight by Bachmann. Ebay score for $25 with shipping. F59PHI by Athern Genesis that I will painting to match this........ Cab control car with 2 other passenger cars from the Seattle Sounder.
  14. Hey everyone I know a lot of us here like trains, both real and scale so I figured I'd start a train thread for everyone. I saw Highway's plastic kit thread was getting discussion on electric trains and the "Interests outside of model cars" thread involved real ones. So that we don't steal threads and such, I thought this was a good idea. I think this should be open to All kinds from scale to 1:1. From Locomotives that you've detailed or rolling stock, To pictures you have taken along the lines. I Hope you all enjoy it and jump in with anything you have to share
  15. Now that sounds nice! I can't wait to start doing stuff like that with my engines. I haven't touched them yet but with all I've learned here I'm going to!
  16. Great job on one of my favorite cars. This has always been one of my dream cars and I drool when I see them You did a great job bud!
  17. I had a buddy do the same thing. He was a contractor and was always in ratty jeans and tee shirts. When the all new ( at the time ) 1994 Dodge Ram came out he went to a big Dodge dealer and the sales guy just shun him away. So he went to a little Dodge place and paid CASH in full. Then he drove it right back to the first place and called the sales guy out in front of the manager. I also had a similar experience in customer service but a different way. My wife went to surprise me for an Anniversary and was going to rent me a Ferrari for 24 hours. Her car was down at the time so she was driving my friends Tempo. One look and they laughed at her. She showed enough cash for the rental plus insurance and then told them they were number one. Sad thing is I never got my Ferrari drive and the place is gone now. It would have been cool to drive a Testarossa for 24 hours
  18. Beautiful car and from one of my favorite shows too. I was actually picked for that show years ago with my 1980 GMC Jimmy and I got the news 2 weeks after I sold it Oh well I guess. I love the 56 and you really did it justice.
  19. Thats a great looking Deere Tom! Just proof that diecast is part of the hobby. Great work. What is that piece you used for the steering wheels column?
  20. Sweet cars Fastback! I have never seen an Escalade front end on a van! The Rolls Royce Dodge Magnum is cool. That true flame hood is wicked awesome! I like em all
