  1. I don't know how to make links to like Photobucket really. Last time I did it my computer said the link was unsafe when I went to double check it and I have no viruses. So I'll just do it this way. Here is the best Junior, followed by the Top 12. Then followed by the Peoples choice and Best of show. Enjoy everyone. I'll post more later on after I get home from work.
  2. Your not the only one. I've been called odd and have recieved a lot of weird looks for saying this is my dream car. I miss my Fury so much. I'm glad I'm not alone in my love for this kind of car.
  3. Fantastic collection! I hope to get my Bronco done so I can add it in there
  4. I never planned on letting this go to be honest. It's not in good shape anymore either. I bought this at Good Guys years ago and built it before I was in any clubs and knew how hard it is to get. I wanted to make a replica of my 76 Fury 2 door sport that I owned. This car got destroyed due to an idiot and I have been slowly getting the right parts to restore. The bad: is the pillars between the front and side windows is broke and needs replaces. The body does need bondo work on the roof. I have the headlights and grille but the taillights broke. Thanks to some guys on here I have Force 440 frames and interior bucket and hood. The good is that I never shaved off the Roadrunner logos on the sides. I planned on getting some of the conversions you promoted for Coronet conversions for the Fury and maybe restoring this as a Roadrunner.
  5. Hey David I was surprised you were not there Thanks for the compliment bud. It was Ecto-1 and my Suburban tank thing I made up that was and Desert Scale Classic nabbed the other one. Thanks again
  6. Tom, again thank you and it was great to see you and your granson. I guess we did have that junior class so get him busy I loved your cars you had there. Congrats to Marty too on his! See you guys in the spring!
  7. This is my haul from the Good Guys weekend. I bought the Corvair and cop car at the show and the 2 custom kits and Caddy from my club meeting. That was a long Saturday I also scored a couple peices of hardware from Good Guys thanks to peoples vote only. I added them in the kit pic to show the detail. My first ones so I'm exited so please don't take it as bragging
  8. I am a new guy to the super detailing. So I still find it fun and challenging. I also feel like I don't want to do it every build. I have seen some crazy stuff at the shows. They win a lot but sometimes it does not have to be overboard. I find some basic details with a handfull of mods seems to work well. There will always be someone that blows the mind. It seems it does not mean every kit has to.
  9. Great stuff Tom! Today was jammed pack. The model tables are full to the brim and even more 1:1 cars! See ya tomorrow!
  10. Very nice!
  11. I just used it for the first time since the change and it worked fine. I'm happy with it. Just have to get used to it. My only complaint is the blue line on your last copied image is gone and I might get lost Other than that I'm good!
  12. I'm so jealous! I have been wanting a kit of this car forever! Can't wait to see it bud!
  13. Here is a couple I found that I like. We have a mix of a cool vette, either a Falcon or Comet? A beefy CJ-5, a Monte with some cool wheels for you big wheel fans and a nice ride on the freeway on the way to work this morning...
  14. I don't know of a Goodwill that does the "per pound" thing but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the thrift stores! Goodwill, Savers, and the little independants. In the last year I have scored a Tamiya tank, AMT 68 GTX, #9 Bill Elliott Dodge Nascar ( The one with the good wheels ) several planes, a few Corvettes, 58 Chevy belair, so many and the most I ever paid for any one kit was $5 bucks. Now I need to find a local per pound outlet!
  15. Great topic! I use a lot of things for models. I'll have to add as I think. Floral wire: ignition wires and misc lines Beading wire: Brake lines and fuel lines Telephone wire: spark plug wire boots (insulation only) Wheels from Tech Deck skateboards and heat wrap: Airbags Spray in bead liner: Vinal tops, interior floor, and bed liners Chain earings/necklaces: Trailer chains Guitar string: Antenna I have a lot more but I'm not thinking right at the moment
  16. I'm taking 14. Sending them with Toby since I can't make it Friday. I have almost all of them ready. Have to pack Ecto 1, Sub-Urban, John Deere car ( Taking it for you Tom! ) Still gotta charge camera and I have a 1 gig and 4 gig card ready to go. I am stoked. Can't wait to see you guys!
  17. Wow, Thank you everyone. I'm glad you liked it. I though it would be fun and refreshing to make something a little different and I guess you guys thought so too. Thanks again
  18. Well lets see.... These will not get done for sure.... And large scale Vette
  19. I think we have another kit exchange meeting next year
  20. I can't wait Dan! It will be a blast. I loved hanging out with and meeting the people I look up to in the hobby at DSC and I was robbed of that in the spring. Also people won't think I'm rude for taking a couple pics of the models and taking off
  21. I still gotta get mine packed up but I am looking forward to 2 days of GoodGuys instead of 2 hours like the spring. Thank god I have weekends off now.
  22. Thats my T-bucket cab and the trailer from my kit as the bed
  23. Now that we know about the Ranger trim package...... Go tell people there was an F-150 Explorer too Nobody will believe you
  24. Looks great Marty. I like the color and details. Looks like an older hot rod that you would really see out and about.
