  2. Nice Russ! I'm glad I'm not the only one that paints the washer bottle like that sometimes. Clean build and Gotta love those Bee's
  3. Hey that came out really neat! I like that you ventured out of the box on this one. I like that paint and graphics and mural. It's builds like these that got me turning a tank into a 6x6 lol. I know your labor was a lot on this and be proud of it.
  4. I wouldn't want to toot my horn
  5. Amazing build and a very cool topic.
  6. Ok so call me MR Backwards. I took a truck and turned it into a tank ( 1/2 Track ) now I'm taking a tank and turned it into a 6x6. Now it's time to cut it open! I started but need to make some alterations after the first cuts were made. This will fully open to accomodate people and I'll make some scratch built hand trucks to move weapondry and supplies in and out. Blake I'm just getting started my friend The only bad news is now I need whats left of that Tank you wanted lol.
  7. Ok so now she has been re-painted and now wears a triple black hand brushed with Future. I was really happy with the shine but all the bubbles did not level and you can see them on the black. I heard you can use windex to rub it out and re-apply Future? I do not own an air brush so any ideas would be appreciated. I'm not done with the wheels yet but gives an idea on the direction i'm going. With this paint job I'm almost thinking of color coded bumpers hmm... I'm really happy with the fixed area I cut out though. Enjoy!
  8. Sweet job on another radical ride These kits are cool.
  9. I like the chop and it looks wicked man. I do have to warn you now before the big guys see it, that your going to have edit your signature. I personally don't have a problem with it but its the rules that your not supposed to even abbreviate curse words. I just don't want you getting kicked off. I look forward to more of your builds like this one
  10. Nice to not give yp on it. I just got a bunch to restore that most would throw away. Don't forget the purple pond needs brake fluid. Mine is mixed 50/50 1/2 purple power 1/2 dot 3 brake fluid.
  11. Happy B day to a good ol picky son of a gun Hope ya get something good!!!
  12. They respond along the lines of " Havent heard from you.." When I sent out a couple messages. It's like they have to be online to work both ways. On their end it looks like I'm the one ignoring them.
  13. Hey Nascar fans (and all racers really) I have seen some really wicked and real looking hood pins on some of the models. What brand do you recommend and can you maybe help with links? I have 3 Days of Thunder cars I'm going to build and a few older Nascar kits and you guys gave me tips on the fuel set ups for detail and I think the pins really make or break a build. Thanks guys for any help.
  14. Hey guys I'm noticing an odd thing happening. In my messenger I'm getting messages ok but only some of my replies go out. I just saw in another thread someone else is having issues. My message box was not full and the issue has been just recently. Anyone else having problems? Also thanks for those I've talked to that thought I was ignoring them for understanding. I just Cleared my box and hopefully it's ok now but maybe there is a glitch if more than a couple are having an issue.

    Gasser56

I'm getting ready to do a few Tri 5 projects and have never built a gasser in my life. Yours inspires me ( Great looking car BTW ) What did you use for the front axle and the lift?
  16. Neat truck, what scale is it? Those wheels remind me of a 1/43 set I have for an old Nascar. I like the subject and once again cool conversion.
  17. Beverly Hillbillys? From the little pic it looks good but it's hard to make out. I can tell the work looks good though
  18. I like it, I'm actually starting to dig these off the wall designs as I have never touched one ( Yet ). Nice job and as far as the little one.. Maybe get her one off that E site cheap and let her go crazy with paint
  19. I did not know there was a real car this way. I knew Hot Wheels made one but I didn't know it was based on a real racer. Very beautiful job on a nice subject and thanks for teaching us that need to learn more on the subject. Great work!
  20. Nice work on achieving a correct look on this car. God forgive if anyone painted a real one silver or anything else it would ruin a classic so yeah your doin the right thing and looks great.
  21. Nice truck and thanks for the turorial post as it may help me on a monster truck build. I think all your scratch building made me exhausted though
  22. I got one guess but I'm not sayin that way if I'm right I can say HA! or if I'm wrong nobody will know
