Ouch, somehow I missed these pictures earlier. I'm glad to see them, since this Dodge Demon turned out fantastic! There are no any flaws or mistakes that hit to my eye, nice paint and detail work also. You do always great work, Roger and your build subjects are always great (Even if they are not Chevrolets )

Alan you read my mind. I thought exactly that same thing right away when I saw the pics. But as a Pro Stock, it will look very good too. Can't wait to see more.

Nice job with the Chevy, and you did a perfect engine choice! Great job with the engine detail and I like the look of that car, too. Just like those old Stockers. Great work, kinda reminds me of this.

Thanx Dave and John! I've been having a break from this one, the bodywork started to get a bit annoying, because after many primer coats, more putty and everything, the mold lines are still visible. I need to try another type of putty next, hope that works better....

Thanks guys, I was really suprised to see this topic on the top! The Dodge has been sitting in a box for a while now. I've been thinking of the chassis parts and how they fit. Maybe it'll be back on the bench soon.

Not my builds, but a couple of pictures of Marko Piironen's outstanding Junkyard Diorama.

That is Nasty...Oh I mean Nashty ! Great work as always, perfect paint job and detailing. I don't know what else to say...Great job. I will go and pick up my jaw, I guess it dropped again on the floor. -
Wow that is nice! Just the way I'm planning to build my Fiat Topolino Altered. You did great job with the weathering, that rust effect works perfectly, and it really has the look that it has been used a lot. I also like the class markings on the body, they look very authentic, how did you do them?

When I saw the Topic Title and the Poster, I knew this is going to be great. And I was 100% correct, very nice Bel Air with perfect engine choice. Nice detailing also, have you tried to fire it up already? I really like the combination of 409 under the Hood, 15" American Racings with painted spokes and shiny paint on '62 Chevy. Nice build!

Thanks Matti and yes, it was nice to see that Legendary Packard on the track and I actually suprised to see how well it went. And yes, sure post your pics too, they are top notch quality and from a bit different Cruisings and Events as mine, so feel free to show them ! Here are a couple of Videos from NNC Street Slide. First '67 Plymouth Vip is doing some Test Runs. Because of the slippery track, he left with almost no turbo boost. Still it ran 10 second ETs. Last year it went 7,957 on the Final race, below is a video of that one too.

Thanks Matija! What's the deal with American Car Culture in Croatia? Pics from Cruising in our Capital, Helsinki. And pictures from a Street Race that was organized in Hyvinkää Airport. It was mostly for street cars, so there was no track glue or anything, that's why it was slippery. But some cars had no big problems with the traction, this Blown Duster went low 11s. Here's the Link for all pics. This Fairlane had bit traction problems... Sometimes it went tires smoking to the 1/8th mile mark. But this time the car didn't go straight, but luckily it stayed on the track. On the next pass it didn't smoke those tires that much and it went 12,0. This was pretty wild Chevy II. This '55 Packard Custom "Junkyard K" is a legendary Finnish Custom that was built in the '80s. It went 15 second runs with other tire smoking.

Nice photos and lots of great detail shots too! Bookmarked that Album. The amount of Turbocharged cars seems to be quite large in the States. Even though we have them too in here, the number of them is very much smaller compared to your number there. Most of the cars that run in here, are either Naturally Aspirated (?), Blower, Pro Charger or some other powered. Do you remember who fast was this one? It looks really wild.

I've used a thin strip of BMF to make those clamps. Someone offers those in Photo Etch too, but can't remember who...Detail Master, maybe? Again, nice Nova!

Nice Chevy! Great to see some Old School stuff from your bench, too. The modern style cars you've built, are very nice too, but not "the thing" for me. This truly is, and when it's built as nicely as this, I really like it. Excellent work, this is my favorite from your bench! Especially the paint job and color are spot on. So is the stance also.

I also collected a lot of those rubber bits from dad's '74 Chevelle, but they were a bit too big for the body. I think they can be used on the chassis, though. Also thanks for the kind words regarding my Hemi Dart. A little inspiration too, if you don't mind...A Finnish '71 Cuda Street Car:

Nice and rarely seen subject! Very well done also, that Heavy Metallic Flake looks good on it and you have managed to install decals very cleanly also. Nice job on detail work too. It sure feels good to finish one that has been 15+ years in progress (At least my dad says so, I have no experience of that ).

Yeah the windshield is pretty odd. That is a highly visible mistake that kit Manufacturer should have corrected, I think. But you did fantastic job with this kit, the paint and detail is impressive. Stance is just perfect also and I like that wheel/Tire combo. Great work as always Ray.

Nice Nova! I think this has always been one of the best looking Novas and your color fits perfectly! Good job with the detailing all over too and I like that wheel and tire combo. Just add Radiator hose clamp(s) and you're ready to fire it up !

I really like how the Cuda looks! Great work with the paint and everything. That color looks spot on too, I've always thought that Cuda needs to be either this color or green. The burnt rubber looks really good. If you want little smaller bits for the next one, here's the way I make them for my builds. I took one spare tire from my parts box. (The one I'd never use). I installed the tire to the Motor Tool, there are many different ways to do this. One way is to drill a hole in spare wheel and install the wheel and tire combination to that motor tool with a screw. The way that I used for this, was to find some kind of round sanding tool what fits to Dremel and inside the tire. Then I just did a "Burnout" with that Dremel + Tire combination on piece of sheet metal, saved the burnt rubber and glued it to Dart with some clear by Revell. I hope you understand, don't know all of the words in English...

Cool Build from that Duster kit! Lots of nice details, but my favorite is that you added those bits of burnt rubber inside the body panels. Nice work!

I've had no problems with the New Ultra Bright Chrome BMF... I've used it on my '64 Belvedere, '53 Hudson and '55 Chrysler now without any problems. Only minor thing I could think as a little problem was that when I used it on the first time, right after I had bought it, the glue on that BMF was very hard and it was tricky to get those unnecessary pieces off from the body. But otherwise it has worked okay.
