  1. Wow, this is really good looking build! I like that frame very much, it looks so realistic. Nice job with those wheels and tires too, and that shifter looks AMAZING! And that gas pedal is amazing too, I've ran out of superlatives when watching your work.
  2. 1st. Ideas, tips, tricks, etc. 2nd. Meeting friends 3rd. Seeing other builds in live. 4th. Cheap? glue bombs, or kits. 5th. Aftermarket goodies. I'm not sure, which one (4th or 5th) is better reason, but both are good.
  3. That.... Paint...Job... Is... Totally... A...Mazing...!!!! Great job with it, this looks really great! That paintjob is almost better than 1:1 scale show-winners have, truly amazing, can't wait to see her finished.
  4. This sounds really good. Can't wait to see. Where? I can't see them, does someone else see them?
  5. LONG LIVE RUST!!! I remember that. Great job with it, this thing has lots of great attitude. I like Gassers very much and this is really Old School! That rusting is really great, it looks just like in 1:1 scale. Engine detailing looks very good too. Thanks for sharing this one, I like it.
  6. Alright, here we go again, I removed all needless flocking from the floor. I painted door panels semigloss black, but there's still bit of cleaning before gluing other parts to those door panels. Tomorrow I'm going to install window cranks, door handles and maybe seats too. Let's have a see. There's not much flocking over those cardboard-pieces, but seats will cover that mistake. I'm going to scratchbuild pedals, original ones can't be seen from finished interior anymore, so I don't have to worry about them. Also little carpet to driver's side under those pedals needs to be done.... Bit more putty to that chassis also, hope after sanding this, it'll be smooth....

  8. Now I'm getting started with the '32 Ford. I must strip the paint off from the body, but I haven't got time to get new bottle of it. On Saturday I'm going to pick new one, and start stripping the paint. But I hope I can start working with the engine already, so there might be an update coming soon.
  9. That stance is just perfect. It's going to be great build again. That rollgace looks really good and fits nicely under the body. GREAT job with it so far, I'm watching this one very closely.
  10. Looking really good, and pictures are sharp now. That engine looks very good to me, detailing is nice. Interior looks good too, maybe those belt buckles would look bit better if they are aluminium for example. It's easy to do, but looks much better. Anyway, great job with it so far, keep it going.
  11. Am I the first one who is posting pictures, except Chuck on that first post? I'm too lazy to write that long story again, so here you go, with copy-paste. Those door handles, I made from styrene on the last update what can be seen in "On the workbench- section, I built new ones. They are bit thinner than old ones, and lots of cleaner, they look bit bad on those super macro pictures, but live they are looking much better. I painted the center part of them brown to simulate wood, it needs to be cleared. Then I painted some black, but I didn't realize to use masking tape, so I must do a bit of cleanup before installing those parts. Also painted the wheels. I painted some gloss black around the bolts of them. I removed paint off from those bolts, so they are chromed. Center knob is painted with clear blue from Revell, then I removed paint from that Gragar-text. Interior floor is now painted matt black and then I put some flocking there, as a carpet. Tomorrow I remove all unnecessary flocking, and then I can start painting the door panels. Pedals needs to be built also, I'm not going to use those from the kit. Also added some styrene to that subframe, it will be the basis of new inner fenders. First picture shows those door handles on progress, on the lower picture they are how they look right now, needs to do a lot of cleaning etc...

  13. Ok, I haven't that kind of worries, those are my own pictures from my photo site.
  14. Looks great! I've been planning to build Bobber style HD from Revell's 1/12 scale chopper kits. I just don't like too modern style choppers, so I must build old styled bobber. But finding correct rear tire is hard, I don't like so wide and low profile one, Revell has in that kit...
  15. This one looks really nice! Old School IS cool!!! Great color choice and really nice paintjob. Stance is perfect, and I like those steelie wheels, especially when they are painted body color. Engine looks really good too, and I like the chassis.
  16. WOW, amazing build! Really nice job, as always. That red color looks very nice and paintjob is great. Modifications are done nicely. Excellent job. Interior looks super nice and clean. I like it, not big mistakes. BTW, that topic title "Surfari" is almost like surffari, it means surfer in Finnish.
  17. I used Detail Master's ignition wire for mine. Other details are built from MIG welding tube, that's really great stuff. This is not the best example, but hope it helps.
  18. Yes, those are incredible. Juha's models don't look so good in pictures, when you see them live, they are truly amazing. There are so much little details that every time watching the build, you find new ones. And those bottles where is bit water, water is painted there and it looks very realistic.
  19. Thanks, Derrick! Today it's time to cast few engines, I hope I can get a good one for this. Chevy 454 Big Block of course. Body is still at the stripper, because I ran out of Power Spray, but today I'm going to pick up a new bottle of it.
  20. Amazing paintjob. Can't wait to see more. This Datsun is really nice looking car too, your model is going to look very good when it's finished. Can't wait to see more, keep it coming.
  21. This is going to be sweet. I'm really interested about this project, but I'd like to see bit better pictures, if possible. Those aren't the worst ones, I've seen but bit blurry and out of focus. If you're using a digital camera, try using super macro setting (a picture of flower in some button). It's easy to take closeup pictures with it, I take every picture with it, when photographing model cars. And I'm trying to help, it's not an personal attack or something like that, project sounds and looks interesting so far.
  22. Juha Airio has built one Dodge Mirada. It's truly amazing, as his other builds too. That kit seems to have lots of potential for a great model, look at these pictures of it!
  23. Great. Thanks. Then if this CBP gets enough interest, I'm in with those, hope this gets going, AMC is something really rarely seen but it's a great subject anyway.
  24. Amazing looking build! Great job with it- that paintjob looks very good and decals seems to be fitting nicely. Engine detailing is super and rear tires and wheels look very realistic. I like this one a lot, great job with it. There's one thing, which could be done even better, maybe. Those spokes on the front wheels are too thick, I think. Maybe using photo-etch parts would make them bit better. But I know that, I've three Front Engine Dragsters coming, and I'm not going to buy them, because they are pretty expensive for my modeling budget. But great job anyway, I really enjoyed about the WIP topic. Keep these coming.
