Chuck, you haven't seen my workbench... It's like two hobby shops exploded at the same time in same place. . . . . .
-
WOW, I managed to do it right, avatar changed. Huh, so there's not better way to do it, thanks Andy. Now I know, what to do when trying to change it.
-
I tried to change my avatar, but I wasn't able to get it changed... How do I change it correctly? I haven't had any problems before, but now it seems to be too hard for me.
-
Yeah, that's really good idea! Thanks. Must buy one poster and then I don't have those ugly seams anymore.
-
Oh, if it's done to match the frontend of that car, then it's not a "mistake". I just don't like that shaping, personally. This is just my opinion, but I can't say how it looks bad, I just don't like it. I'd like to see it like more original look. Or then I'd like to see it with just painted on grille, not like "shaped"... Bit hard to say it in english, but hopefully you can understand something.... This looks good, I think.

It will look good! Only thing, I'd like to do different way, is those tires and wheels. They are way too small! I mean, that keep them 15" but tires must be much higher profile, in the front and especially rear. Wheels are ok.

I just made a photo booth. It's just normal box and I sealed it with white paper. Needs to do some cleaning, the seam between those papers is just there, where it shouldn't be. And the second picture shows, that I need better light for that. I'm working on that Funny Car right now, it is completed soon, I hope...

This is really cool project. In 1:1 scale that would be great start for Hot Rod project. The weathering is very nice and I like those flat tires. Great job with the engine too. 1:8 scale Deuces are something really rarely seen.

Detailing is spectacular. This will be looking just like real car does, everything is just so realistic and there are no mistakes at all. Can't wait to see more work with it, Pro Modifieds are really nice...

This is really nice build. Personally I don't like the shaping of that front bumber and grille. But that's just Revell's mistake. Great job with the painting and decals. I like the engine too, from what I can see. Wheels and tires look good, can't wait to see more of your amazing builds.

WIP thread was nice to watch, and finished product is cool. It looks like Altered WheelBase to me. And that's good. Those headlights are nice too. I like the engine alot and that batwing is great idea. Maybe I must start my Bat Racer too...

Always read the topic before posting comments... Otherwise I could miss something, or ask something again...

More... It's pretty smooth, but not so shiny. I will spray some clear on it and then waxing, then it will be good, I hope.
-
Here on the first picture you can see how the windshield fits. Not perfect, but I think, it's good enough. I also build "brackets" for the rear window, hopefully I can make it. Body is also painted, color is from Motip. The bodywork isn't perfect but I think it looks good after paint, and then I'm going to clear and wax it. I'm going to search some decals for it. Hope I find something...

I'm going with Real. It just looks so realistic, I can't find anything but realistic parts...

Edsel is beautiful car. I can't understand, why they were not popular on the fifties... Your model looks very good too, that color combo is great and I like the paintjob. Engine pictures would be great to see...

"OUTLAWED" Top Sportsman Challenger
W-409 replied to Mister Twister's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
WOW!!! Great job with the weathering, and details are awesome. I wouldn't be sure about $ponsoring that one. Great job with it, more of these, please. -
Thanks for sharing many of your builds here, these are great. I like the details on this, looking very realistic. That driver's suit looks very good, and I like all of those tools. Cables and everything like that are looking very good too. GREAT build.

Chevy 1500 Rock Crawler
W-409 replied to jcvt's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Great job with it! Rock Crawler is something, I'd like to build too. Maybe from Chevy Blazer or Ford Bronco. I'd like to have '66 Ford Bronco, but I haven't seen one. Anyway, your project looks very good to me, can't wait to see more work. -
Wow, great paint job and decaling. Engines are spectacular, as always. Talking about fast project... Your all builds come together really fast... Same time when John builds superdetailed build with large modifications, I can get one engine finished... And that's not super detailed. So this must be really fast if you're talking about fast project. But it's already painted and that frame combination is already done, must say, that it's fast. Thanks for sharing these WIP projects with us.

Ok, the last set of primer has been painted. The bodywork is not perfect, but I think, it'll look good when I have paint, clear, decals and BMF. Bit polishing too. The hood isn't still ready, but I'm working on it. Windshield from Revell's '67 Corvette, it fits ok. And rear window will be made from acetate. I'm going to paint it tomorrow, hopefully. No pics this time, but maybe tomorrow.

'70 Super Bee More coming later.

Alright... Where I should start? Well, first '66 Nova. '41 Plymouth. '62 Catalina. "Black Widow" '57 Bel Air

Please post your GTO builds, I want to be inspired
W-409 replied to edward smith's topic in Model Cars
I've built one many years ago, so the quality of this build isn't too great. But it's GTO anyway.
