  1. This thing is totally insane kick butt wild. I love it. Love the flocking as well. Coming together very clean and flawless love it......
  2. Very Nice and Very Clean build. That is an awesome kit and I really like your choice of colors as well.
  3. Don't sell them, those are some really awesome finds there just for the age. I would keep them for sure.
  4. For the interior of the truck thou, just going with non texture, flat paint. I am liking the fact of covering up the stock pink HD foam thou, finally getting some good color to this project...
  5. Tried the texture paint on the interior of the '32. I really like the looks of this paint.
  6. the one day I wanted to try to get a good pic in the sun light its over cast now. Had nothing but sun for about three weeks, then an overcast day. I will attempt a better pic when the sun is out. The transparent colors over the gold really glow when in the sun light.
  7. got some color as well on the parts for the aquarium yesterday....Will be working on the rest of the interior and hope to have more soon...
  8. Thanks David, the colors really pop when they are in the sun light, when the sun comes out this week I will take some pics of them in the sun light. The clear over the gold really set them off. I can see thou I have a lot of touching up to do. I should have masked each color off and spray painted them but that would have taken a lot of time.
  9. I finally got around to painting the wings. I have them designed for the trailer on either side, if the paint work for the hieroglyphics takes up more than I have planned instead of putting these on the side of the trailer, I may put them on the bed of the truck as bed rails.... So will see where they end up on the finished product....
  10. Thanks Mike, Yes the face mask is with the clear parts. Pretty good molding I might add. The flippers I can probably scratch build however, I think ill give that a try.
  11. True, very true on the spear gun, after de-chroming of course, one of the accessories that will be in my freaky tiki build, thank you for the info.
  12. Thank you Carl, did some coloring today. I think it will look ok not exactly what I had in mind, but I think with additional weathering it will look ok.
  13. Craig, that was my idea as well except the tops are kinda strange , did your kit come with the swimming flippers?
  14. Landman, they could be that, here is a pic of the bottom of the parts. The camera on my phone will not get up close to the top of the parts but they do not look like that from the top of the part, I am thinking maybe they have to do with some other scuba gear... Just wish they would have added the flippers thou.
  15. Hi all, not sure if this is the thread to ask these questions but it has to do with the re issued 1970 Pontiac, I bought the kit for the parts for my freaky tiki build. It showed flippers, but those are not in the kit, but there are two parts not listed on the instruction sheet that I am curious as what they are. Does any body know what these two parts are? The parts are the one in the black circle that I tried to draw on the pic.
  16. Been really busy lately so updates are slim to non, actually took a few minutes to try my idea to transfer the art to the board. Came out pretty good now i have to add some color....
  17. Mike, I actually can just carve the foam with the glyph's, the look I am going for on the trailer is a painted on theme. Here is a couple of pics from a book I have with hand painted coffins or hieroglyphics on a coffin. Did a trace of the first photo art, going to try my hand at hand painting them.
  18. decided this will be the graphics for the very back of the tomb trailer, just have to figure out a way to transfer the image to the board....
  19. I have been trying to figure out how to paint some hieroglyphics on the trailer, and how to weather the trailer tomb.....
  20. Gator, I found out the plastic that they use for the bones series is a polymer plastic which is very soft and hard to paint may have to mold then in resin to make them workable.
  21. Found these at the gamer store yesterday. Will find a place for the scarab beetle swarms...
  22. David, thank you, I was thinking a two tone paint job but not quit there yet. Also had some ideas for ghost patterns of Egyptian type of artwork.
