  1. Not sure if this will be a quick out of the box build or a wild over the top build, found at Hobby lobby and had to get a few, time will tell... being 1/8th scale it makes for a big build, just has that 70's coolness factor.....
  2. I found three rings that were bought at hobby lobby from the jewelry isle. They are large for 1/24th 1/25th scale maybe for 1/16th scale. They may have smaller have not been back there looking for them. The rings are the three in the middle, they are not soldered, but they are completely round and flat.
  3. May want to check out the jewelry aisle at hobby lobby I have seen some small rings for used for jewelry, may not be small enough but I have seen them before...
  4. This thing is off the charts !!!! Love the work you put into it and all the weathering on the bike. I hear you on the figure , mine is sitting in the box unfinished because of all the work on that figure you nailed it perfect.
  5. That is insane for the road wheels. 920. I remember when doing a panzer just cleaning up the 16 road wheels seemed tedious, could not imagine working on all of those little wheels on the original issue. Good news they got it right thou and simplified them.....
  6. Awesome site thanks for sharing....

  9. That is why I like to post my work in progress stuff here! You are giving me excellant ideas. Thank you.
  10. Saw this on the net a few months back ., thinking may have to incorporate this type of thing on the build somewhere.....
  11. good to hear i am not the only one that takes forever to finish a project.....
  12. there will be some in scale here on it somewhere that is for sure. more to come soon hopefully....
  13. Never thought of that but could look good....
  14. Hopefully more soon...
  15. LOL
  16. Yes I can not stop starting 3 year long projects....
  17. Lol Guys,... not much of an update, been working on the cut out, usually I use the back of the xacto blade and using the back of the blade draw it back thru the lines till its thin enough, i got inpatient and took a dremel to take out the majority of the plastic and then realized I made it to difficult to finish it with the knife. Been using files, and now I am close. Once I get the shape where I am happy enough with it I will continue on with the rest of the build. Just have to get the roof right first.
  18. Victoria's Secret build, the name should be self explanatory!!! If not it will be built around a Lingerie design (hence the shape of the roof cutout). I know I have about 5 builds on here under construction and this for sure is the last thing that I need to be doing is starting another 3 year build but was thinking about this one since I started the strippers delight. It will take a while for updates just like the other projects but here we go...
  19. could have NOT said it any better, this thing is above a work of art. your scratch building skills are off the charts....KEEP IT UP!!!
  20. finally able to use my vinyl cutter for something model related. Helps with painting the road wheels...
  21. Found this in an indoor flea market for $2.85 and figured I would give it a go. One of the many reasons I am stalled on the other projects I have on here,. Need a slump buster as it seems I am having issues with inspiration on the other builds....
  22. got some work done but not much, was in bed with flu for the last three days, got the rear holders for the axle attached...
  23. I like certain show rods, but not many myself.
