  1. I love your work on rat rods... this one especially, keep up the awesome work, you inspire me to finally try my hand at a rat rod. hopefully one day but yours are over the top. love all the extra detail you put into them as well.....
  2. decided to make a frame that will be hidden underneath and behind the back of the seat to hold the lingerie/lace tight and then glue to the seats. That way I can alclad the seat frames then add the lace later.....
  3. Will be watching this one for sure!!!
  4. I do like the idea of the stabilizers like I say I may add some temp legs to it sense it fits the bed right now legs that can come off. when i get some time will try it out.
  5. No updates this loooonnng weekend like I had planned. the harmonic balancer went out on my wife's mini coop and spent most all my free time to fix that thing. I love mini coops but really hate to work on the things. very expensive parts and very hard to work on for space..... so hopefully in the next week or so can get some updates on this thing..................................................................
  6. Thanks Marc, yeah with a relationship it is hard. thing is where I live I have looked for a while but no one is hiring that can match what I make at night so I guess I am stuck.
  7. John, the mini stage is just mocked up for looks. It will get closer to the truck on the finished truck (hopefully one day I will finish this kinda thinking not gonna happen.). I was gauging the overall size by eye off of the pic of the chick picture farther back in this thread. was thinking of making it smaller but usable. Tri pod may not work but I am giving some thoughts to a possible support if I put one of the model chicks KI have on the front stage.
  8. did not get much done last night, ended up looking for an article in a model magazine for making upholstery from epoxy. I did mock up the truck where it is at now. as far as the bed and the mini stage being put in place on the frame. I did however come up with some seat supports for the bench seats, being that they have no seat bottom now, unless I use the foam, but if I do not then I needed a support I could connect to just the frame. So came up with these. more to come soon I hope..
  9. Agreed, sometimes can be much cheaper, not always but I trust them better than the usps anyway.
  10. Hey Gator long time no talk, yes trying to keep it going. I am at a huge slllummmp period right now and pushing my self to keep working on one of the long time builds. May have an update Sunday night or Monday morning that is my "stay in sync for graveyard" night where I stay up till 4:30am, so hoping to come up with another update. Need to get the frame done so I can get on with finishing the body work. That is where it is at right now. plus a redo with the interior.
  11. Snopes? you have to be kidding, snopes is a site that is more fake news than CNN, do not believe a word of this site, as soon as I seen that it was snopes knew it was not true......
  12. Actually this is for the front bumper but now that I think about it I can make another mini stage for the tail gate as well, even for the trailer, another idea!
  13. Have been watching this one since 07 any updates?
  14. Thank you, I have one other idea in mind but this may be the most pc version that I can show on here......
  15. when the mini stage is removed came up with a star shaped hitch cover....
  16. okay I may right now have no need for anything. But will keep ya in mind for sure..... I love resin parts have made a lot for my builds mostly stereo speakers and stuff like that but love making molds and casting resin. Aztec warrior and Egyptian raider have casted a lot of parts for. mostly copies of jewelry bits and Egyptian style parts.....
  17. I did not plan on the pull out cabinet in the bed to fit the front mini stage as I just came up with that over the weekend but it fits the bed cabinet just perfect! That way it can be displayed with or with out the stage.
  18. Man I hate graveyard shift, going on ten years and still hate it what resin parts you working on?
  19. that's coo,l just wanted to make sure that I was replying to the correct responses..... no worries....
  20. That is me bench time a premium and now with good weather and a new diet and regiment work out schedule for my 15 year old son leaves may be 8 hours a week and some times that is sunday night when I stay up all night to stay in sync with graveyard shift...... we all need more time for this hobby. too many ideas no time to do anything with the ideas....
  21. John, try this site. I have not bought any as they come in pure resin and my painting skills lack a lot when it comes to the female form, mine I got in a trade here on this forum. Either try jimmy or go to the wanted or trade thread to see if someone can hook you up with the right female figures.... http://jimmyflintstonestudios.com/?product_cat=jf-figurines
