Tom, yeah thats about all i get, is a pound of shavings. I have made a few cool pulleys but thats it. I could have bought a lot of aftermarket machined parts waaaayyyyyy cheaper. Justion, JB Hobbies, do they have a website? -

Im referring to the aluminum pulleys mocked up on the engine in the top pic. If its not detail master or done on a lathe its very convincing paint. Reason I ask is I have a Sherline lathe that I'm trying to learn, I have made a few pulleys that came out ok but takes me hours fooling around with the particular cutting bits, just cause you have a particular tool doesn't mean your an instant master, boy did i find out after 900.00 worth of Sherline lathe and tools, Im trying to learn being a metal smith. I need to have someone train me on my lathe. -

Yeah i have to agree, I had bought from my local model club 10 sealed nascar kits for 2.00 each i could not sell them for 5.00 each after a year trying i gave them away to a youth group so they could start building model cars. I know there are big fans in nascar but not the model building end of it. Id say he would be better off taking offers. I would take the regular cars and show cars out of the stash for what you can get for them then take offers for the nascar. -
Is there a website for that company?

wow very flawless and intricate detailing will be following this one for sure.............. -
No real updates, except I have decided on the final layout of the bed. I had to whittle the pyramid down on either side and decided to cut off 1/3 of the back of the pyramid to set it closer to the cab. I was at one point going to get rid of the pyramid all together but believe it ads to the over all theme. Will probably carve a design on either wall of bed wall for that carved stone look.

Awesome build, keeping my eye on this one, one question however, and I apologize if you already explain how you got them, are they detail master or did you lathe them yourself? -
Christopher, actually the costumes and the brightly colored motifs are one of the biggest reason for the build, like this warrior, to me was to bright for battle but very intriguing , What I had originally planned for the grill was I was trying to carve out the Death Rebirth Deity that used to worship: but after so many attempts decided on the grill that I have now because it was easier to carve out, I have been playing around with different designs for the sides of the bed out of the foam to try to tie the bed ideas to the exterior but most of it just looks over powering.

Thanks guys, not a real update but, I was in a dollar store today and came across these plastic halloween rings, they are a rubbery type plastic so I am not sure if the paint will stick to them but was thinking I could use them for something on this build or another build. On the Aztec warrior was thinking maybe a fender cover or something....

Thanks Chris, Ok I finally decided on a truck for this build. I was undecided for a while for a number of reasons, but have decided that the revell '56 ford will work, I like the shape of the cab and roof line for this project, plus it already has opening doors that will save me a lot of time creating working doors for this build. The only thing I do not like is the fact that after buying three kits to get a kit that is not warped in the cab or frame area, which in all three kits need a lot of work to straighten the frame and cab area. That sucks but can be overcome.
