A long time ago a lowrider magazine article got my juices flowing on making a totally custom one off lowrider fiero. the green foam is not the finished color that the foam will be just using an off color for ideas. Will have a total off the wall sound system and hydraulics as well.

hopefully round 2 will reissue if the mold is still there, thats the thing with paying big bucks for a kit anymore, i remember when the rommels rod and tijuana taxi would go for hundreds on the bay then they both got reissued. that would suck to pay that much then see its gonna be reissued.............................. -

my fav right here. -
Yes they are made up of several bits, 2 mm bolt and nut, and i didnt want the nut to show so i put it in a piece of plastic rod and sanded it round by chucking it in my lathe and sanding till the nut almost soon, then glued a watch part gear over that then added a gamer bits piece on top of that. Once painted it will show a lot better thou.

Scanning can be done but that in itself is expensive as the scanners are very costly. Google( if your ever interested in learning software that will make the design) has free software, I have played with it and its fairly easy to use. Its called sketch up and its free to download. I know you want something scanned but you may be able to draw it up in sketchup and have shapeways print it a lot cheaper than some service that will be willing to scan it. -

I am close thou I have been working on the knock off, they will actually work on the front end so I can take off the front wheel and show more detail. then more body work, hinge the hood, and custom graphics, all most there.

Here's a deal for someone
Darren B replied to chevyfever2009's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It will be a steal for whoever wins the auction, unless it goes up by other people bidding, (which usually happens) if not then hes gonna spend $630.00 plus for shipping, how many can fit in a good sized box, and there is 320 of them, I really think the seller is not gonna be making any money at all, unless it goes way above 1200.00 ending bid................just my opinion from selling and shipping multiple kits in the past, $200.00 divided by 320 kits = .625 or in other words each kit has .63 cents for shipping, each kit! even if he can get 12 in a large box that box could cost depending on the location of the person winning the auction at least $12.00 economy if he can find that somewhere. I have shipped kits as much as 6 in a box but usps was 18.00 economy, not to keep running on here, just do not see it making any money if it closes at 630.00. Seller has 100 percent feedback after 768 transactions so hes a man of his word. but to keep that up to 100 percent hell have to eat any cost in shipping over $200.00. risky i say..... -

true statement, except you can make more than just round parts, but I know what you mean. One thing thou is the learning curve of the software if you want to make your own parts and not download a file to work with, played around with the free google software and Ill need to learn a lot to make something like a complete engine..........
