I got the grille and bumpers installed today. I was going to use the kit supplied decals for the marker lights and emblems but I may order the MCG photoetch set instead. I've never used any photoetched emblems but I think I'll give it a shot.

I've never built a big rig model but this build is making me want to. Looking sweet! -
I may have witnessed a few races out there at one time or another.

Thanks Joe. I would love to build a replica of my camaro but it will likely never happen. My first hurdle is the body. I would have to convert a Z-28 to a sport coupe. My scratchbuilding and bodywork skills are pretty minimal at this time. I could really nail the details though since I know every square inch of that car like the back of my hand.

Body is painted and on the chassis hopefully for good. Next project will be to make a couple fuel pressure regulators and a throttle cable bracket so I can get the underhood buttoned up. Still have a few more little details to add underhood aswell. Thanks for looking.

I like where this is going. Looking forward to more as it progresses.

Thanks Joe. That was the first place I tried since it's only 5 minutes from my house. I had no luck anywhere local and it seems to be out of stock all the places I looked online also.

Hope to have an update on this one soon. Body is ready for paint but I can't find any TS-13 anywhere. I know Tamiya paint is a little tricky and would hate to use other clear and have an issue.

1969 Camaro outlaw prostreet updates 11/19/11

It was looking killer before but now it's completely over the top. Paint looks great!!! -
I grew up always hearing stories about people wishing they had their first car back. When I ended up with an 85 Camaro with a 2.8 V6 I never imagined keeping it for long. Now 16 years and many engine and trans combos later it's still sitting in the garage. Not sure if I'll never sell it becuase I love it or I couldn't stand to lose that much money. LOL

Looks awesome with the black wheels!

Would you be interested in selling a couple? I have one on my 1:1 from running at the YB nats. It would be cool to putone on a couple of my models I'm working on.

Didn't see a bicycle thread. I'll have to look for it this evening and post up a few pics. -

I wouldn't say I spend too much but i do spend alot of money on anything that has wheels. I have a pretty large collection of models, die cast, hot wheels, and 60's Schwinn bicycles. Not too mention my low 8 second camaro or my small block S10 cruiser. I'm fortunate to have a good job and no kids(yet). -
