  1. A few pics of the progress I've made on this one. Should have it finished up tomorrow. Thanks for looking!
  2. I'm gonna have to start fabbing up a crank driven bracket set up like the super charger store mount. Maybe my drag radial chevelle has just made another direction change. My 1:1 drag car took less time to build then that thing. LOL
  3. Very cool build Lyle. I've seen a rat rod with a Latham on a hemi at a few shows around PA and MD over the past year. Maybe the same car that inspired your build. Look forward to seeing more. i love this period of street rods and you now how to build them!
  4. Very cool build. One of my favorite movies!
  5. Your killing me with all these differant wheels.
  6. WOW! This came out great. I really like what you did with the wheels. I'm a huge fan of steelies with dog dish caps. The last pics you posted look like a 1:1! Well done and I look forward to seeing what you build next.
  7. A little progress. The sheetmetal SS/AH style intake I had planned didn't turn out so great so I went with the kit cross ram and corrected the height issue. I'll keep working on my other intake for my next build.
  8. I'm curious about the wheels myself. My coworker had a set of P slots on his mk1 Jetta coupe.
  9. AWESOME! Great choice of color and the BBS's look sweet on it. The interior upgrades are also coming along nicely. Can't wait to see more updates.
  10. Another winner John! It was great to watch this come together on the workbench. You have got some skills!!!!
  11. Two thumbs up! I like it alot. Makes me wanna give weathering another try.
  12. That's Tony Russo from New York. It's a very cool car. It still has a bench seat and column shifter in it and has been 8.30's on drag radials. He runs 8.50 index at Etown and Atco with it.
  13. I got a little work done on my Dart today. This build is going to represent a modern day street/strip car that was inspired by the factory race car. It rolls on steel wheels but the rear of the car is mini tubbed to keep the slicks under the car. The hemi will have a sheetmetal cross ram intake and some other modern speed parts. So far the wheelwells have been massaged for extra room, subframe connectors installed and the holes for the factory leaf springs filled in. Hopefully more to post soon.
  14. Nice pics! I wish I could have stayed longer. There were some awesome builds on display.
  15. Another killer build John! I really like the off the beaten path subject matter you choose. That combined with your super clean building style. Waiting to see what you post up next!
  16. Here's a link with pics and prices. Really nice stuff! http://www.micronitro.net/micro_nitro%20home.htm
  17. Small update. Got the body cleared. Here's a quick mock up picture. This will be the last update for a bit. Gotta get the full scale car ready for the yellow bullet nationals at cecil county this weekend. BigEd...The wheels are from the WJ superman firebird. The rears have been narrowed with pro track slot car bead lock rings added.
  18. Awesome!!!!!! Nothing cooler than a station wagon in my book. Killer build with an incredible paint job. I'm off to look for one of these kits. I must build my own.
  19. Thanks for the positive comments. I got some color on the car last night. It's model master laquer hondurus maroon. Hope to get some clear on it soon.
  20. I finally took a break from the 1:1 race car a.k.a.money pit to get a little work done on this. Body is in primer and a little more progress has been made on the chassis. Here's a few quick pics i snapped tonight while I was working. Thie is my first real departure from a pretty much box stock build so its taking awhile. Thanks for looking.
  21. Wow! That is a fantastic build Marcos. I hope you will be attending the September show in Gilbertsville with that one. I would love to see it in person.
  22. Put me down for a dozen or so sets! Most of my builds are of drag radial cars.
