  14. Well done, this is very interesting build. So unusual and so cool, I love the design, can't say enough.
  15. I started with a AMT 53 ford kit and a photo for inspiration. I only took 3 pictures during the build the rest are finished kit. I started by cutting the roof but it is a little trickier then you might think. I scratch built the front and rear racks, the ladder is just sheet plastic, tools and junk are extra stuff and crumpled up leaves from the yard. The driver is from a kit that had some Gangsters in it and a little surgery to him also turn his fedora "hat from the 30's" into a baseball cap. I didn't know how to make mud, so I looked up on Youtube and some guy use Hot Choc mix and white glue but I didn't have any but I did have Instant Pudding. This worked pretty good you will see on the model. The hard part was to make the dirt on the body, I use dull coat and blew dust from an old vacuum bag and just let it land on the body and wheels. Thanks for looking everyone.

  22. Hi Dave, don't know if you remember me we did a trade when I was over visiting my daughter. The truck was a glue bomb, left the frame and motor alone stripped the cab done and repainted it. The sleeper is made off the top of my head all sheet plastic. The trailer I got from a guy in Toronto we did a trade it was just the trailer with some side compartments, I added the rail around the deck also added tread plate plastic to the deck. Tired to find a winch with no luck, so I scratch built one, Ramps to get the cars off and on where made and also made them so they would slide under the trailer. In the compartments I used and old fire truck ladder so you could pull the motor in and out, tool box had to scratch build, just the face though, added spare tires and tie down ropes. Made a mess on the deck of oil dirt and rust. The two cars. one made about 12 years ago and the other about 2 years ago I am going to add one more car to the trailer once it is build. This was something I had in mind for many many years. I am waiting for a friend to make me decals that say "VINTAGE RACING" I think that is everything, enjoy I did.
