  1. X5....Bill... you are one talented builder. Love your work. Man that rear end is nice.
  2. That would be great. I would love to learn how to do that as well.
  3. Nice builds Dave!! Keep up the great work.
  4. Bruce... you are welcome. I have to agree with you that they have possibilities. I have been trying to find what would work best for parachute chord material and when I ran across these I had to pick them up. I do have to say what Rick posted looks great as well.
  5. Mark... outstanding work and looking great.
  6. Scott... things are looking great as usual. Keep up with the great work. That strut looks killer!
  7. Awesome Tyrone... cant wait to see the final pics
  8. John.... nice work bud!!! it just keeps getting better and better. The headers look great!
  9. John... This is turning out very nice and it is sure coming along. Keep up the great work!
  10. Hey Steve.... Thanks man. The Valve Covers are from Mark Johnson. He does some Killer resin engines and I would recommend him to anyone looking for 1/16th scale engines. I was going to be painting the valve covers with Alclad. I have both the chrome and Polished aluminum. I will probably end up doing a spoon test and go with which looks like it matches my reference pics the best. I believe the real valve covers on the funny car are made from aluminum.
  11. Scott....thanks bud...one more hurdle I have gotten over lol. Now I can proceed on to the next part of this build . Were you able to open the dxf file in your CAD program?
  12. Niko.... nice work on the seats. They look great. Are the high spots you talking the piping in the seat?? Keep up the great job you are doing on this build. It's looking great
  13. Steve... nice work. That airbrushing looks great. Dud tou use any stencils or did you free hand it? You ae so close to having this one completed. Great job.
  14. This is a beautiful and clean build. The detail on the engine looks great. Nice Job!
  15. Brad... thanks man. Once I get the bondo on these parts tonight as well as a few other parts, I will shoot some more primer on them and then I can start prepping and sanding the chassis and getting it for paint. I am hoping to shoot some black on some parts this weekend. Would love to possibly get the chassis painted as well but i know I will wamt to reprime it after I do my final preppings or I could just shoot the base on it and see how it turns out.
  16. I have to agree with Tyrone here, nice job on lettering of your tires. I thought they were a decal lol. Looks perfect to me.
  17. Bill.... thanks buddy. I am pleased with them so far So tonight I felt like I sanded and filed for an hour our two...and then had to so a little re-soldering on one I messed up. Anyway I got the rest of the spark plug boots done and tomorrow night I will add some bondo to them and sand, then finial primer. Then they are ready for paint. for such small Items that they are they sure took a lot more time that I thought but then again doesn't help when I am trying to make them perfect . they all have their own character...haha... anyway here is a pic of them.... Spark Plug Boots ready for final details:
  18. Joe... Outstanding work on the brakes my friend. They look great. Glad to see you back on it. I know what it feels like when needing a little break from the project.
