  1. Rom... It's great to hear from you. Hope all is well and look forward to more updates on your builds
  2. Joe... thanks buddy..... Hey we can share lists hahaha . Your pro mod is out of this world but I know where you are coming from when you feel you are at a stall point or from just feeling a little burnt out. I have had some small details on my F/C that I have been thinking about how I will go forward with but I feel that they are a hurdled and can't go forward til I get them worked out. So ready to have the rolling chassis done and painted...lol Ben... Thanks man!! KeKe... . Thanks man. This one should be fun. Ok Fellas I have a question for all of you. I have been thinking about the interior and have been going back and forth on what I would like to do for the seat. Gonna show you a pic of the seat as well as a pic of two upholstery decals from scale motor sports. So I really I have three ideas for the seat upholstery. First idea is to make the seat look as close as possible to what is in the real car and was thinking I cold get something done close to it by using different colors of thread and laying them one by one to create this "Mexican" blanket look..... then then next two are using either a Leopard upholstery pattern or a Giraffe upholstery pattern from Scale Motor sport.... Here are the pics... Here is a pic of the interior in the truck: Here is the upholstrey patterns from scale motor sports, the top is the Giraffe pattern and the bottom is the Leopard print: Now the question I am asking is which do you think would look best and which would you go with?? Thanks guys, I am undecided at the moment...lol
  3. Tom...I got onto SFI's website and they have different spec for the different classes. It looks like each spec is $35.00 each other than one that is $45.00
  4. Too cool and looking great.
  5. Scott... Very nice work my friend. So clean and precise. Love your work. Btw did you get my email? Hope it went thru.
  6. Brett.... Man this is a great build so far. The paint and decal work is just killer. I can't wait to see it done. My niece and nephew got me this kit for Christmas 2 years ago and been thinking I need to build it straight out of the box.
  7. Rodger this is looking great and you are to a good start. Very cool looking build.
  8. Jeff this is looking great! And gonna be a totally cool build. Looking forward to seeing more of this.
  9. This is a great build. Nice work Mark
  10. Tom this is looking great so far and I will be following along for sure. That stance looks great. I have some pics of a couple super gas chassis's I took at the drags here at Firebird raceway when they were holding the NHRA national event. Sone.builder had them on display and I couldnt resist since I was looking for.that reference material lol. i cant remember if the pics were from last year or the year before. let me know if you'd like a few. I have been planning on doing a 1/16th scale Super Gas '63 Vette myself. I can't wait to see more of this project.
  11. Dave... are these specs out of the NHRA rule book by chance?? sounds like it is an SFI manual. I have a couple of rule books and sounds like I need to pick up an SFI manual for my pro mod build.
  12. That interior is too cool John and looking great. You are sure making great progress.
  13. John.....this build is looking good and glad you are making progress. Keep up the great work.
  14. This a very cool build and you have done some nice work. Seeing this makes me want to get back to my '32 Rat Rod I started 2 years ago. Again nice work, it looks great.
  15. Bill.. This is all to impressive my friend. The chassis work is just killer. I can't wait to see more. Big fan of your work.
  16. Mark this is all impressive. From the machining of the hubs/disks to the making of the rims. I am interested in learning more about this acid etch method. I have always wanted to try micro marks photo etch set. But the rim pieces look very clean with this method you have done. Keep up the great work
  17. I picked this magazine earlier this week when I saw it at the grocery store. Great Magaine!!
  18. John.... beautiful work bud! I am really digging this build totally cool. I Love the keg and how the body line of the truck match the car. this is going together nice.
  19. I would possibly be interested in one of these if I could see a sample of the quality and precision. I am wondering how it would compare to TDRs products being printed by shapeways. I know that there is different ways to print these parts with different types of printers. But it seems that the prices are becoming more affordable for anyone who would want to purchase one.
  20. I haven't heard from him lately. Last I heard he was getting settled in his new place. I have been missing his updates as well.
  21. Ali... I was going to mention in my first post if you want the best A/N Fittings you should check out RB Motions website. They all are machined from aluminum and a great product. They can get a little pricey though. Wayne has a good suggestion as well to save a little money.
  22. You need to talk to Charlie at Pro Tech.... He has the best braid hose in the business hands down. Here is his website http://protechmodelparts.com/carpartscatalog.htm See Page 2 for his braided hose for Radiator line you can use .080" .060" for oil line, heater hose .045" Fuel line, Oil Line, Heater Hose .035" for Fuel lines You will not be disappointed by his products. None ones braided line compares to what he has. Plus he is a great guy to do business with. I just placed another order with him today.
  23. Brad... Those Shocks are flat out Awesome Buddy!! Looking very good. Nice work. I can't wait for more. Keep on posting pics
