  1. Thanks! Dave, there are a lot of little modifications needed. Here's a checklist I made for myself of things to do: Rear bumper: reshape using Monaco bumper and Charger tail lights. Add rear valance from Charger Front bumper: remove grille from bumper. Fill in lower dip in bumper. Reshape lower valance. Add grille/headlights from second bumper. Reshape center grille. Hood: narrow and fill in the valleys on the sides on the Monaco hood. Use air vents from Charger. Use front hood from Charger and add thickness. Possibly use fender tops or entire front clip from Charger, depending on how close the Monaco fender tops line up. Interior: dash from Charger with new gauges (from I don't know yet). Front and rear seats from the 1970 Ford LTD. New Seidel panels.
  2. Sides from Monaco body are removed. Valence from Satellite is used. Mold was sanded to make the casting thicker. Turn signal buckets sanded away. Putty added to round off corners
  3. 2. 1971 Dodge Satellite grille is used. Molded a copy for the changed center section. Grinded the center away
  4. Hello All, Starting my slow project that gets some time in between work projects. This is a 1972 Dodge Coronet, based on the MPC 1977 Dodge Monaco. 1. Front end is grinded down. More material will be removed once I find out how much exactly to remove
  5. Any kit parts like wheels, motors, bodies that you'd like to buy in 1/25th scale, that already exist in 1/24th scale, or even in 1/20th scale? Thanks for reading
  6. good to know. Just remember, I would need at least 10 buyers to make it worthwhile. An all new body model kit costs anywhere from $500 to $1000 to produce up front. There's also a resin kit on eBay of a 1970s Chysler 300 which can be converted By the way, the Dukes of Hazard Monaco was a B-body. The 1970 LTD might work though
  7. PM me your current address and I'll send one over
  8. Add robertburns in front of that and you'll have it. -Thanks!
  9. that would have driven the price up too much. It's hard to sell these at bargain prices
  10. All the pics are unpainted resin. Correct, the wheels mount to the side of the body. If you want to go accurate, simply grind out the wheel mounts and add duallies on the front and rear. Yes, no chassis. I can post photos and measurements of the interior tub if you want to scratchbuild it. I can also post it on Shapeways and you can order a 3d printing. Thank you for your questions
  11. I understand, I didn't take it as anything. For shipping, I ask for a $50 deposit and refund the difference/over charges after I ship it. Thanks. Are there any popular forums in the Netherlands I can post this in? Thank you
  12. Thank you to everyone who voted ill be working on the Polara after the Caprice is done Cheers, Rob
  13. that's what I've been wanting to do too. Im thinking of doing a Motorama car hauler, only like a semi truck and trailer style
  14. yes, no letters due to GM trademarks. You could laser cut or 3D print the letters. I might be able to send you the files if you remiss not to share them
  15. I understand that it might seem like a lot but, think of it like this: 6 kits at retail prices, 10 kits at good prices, or 15 kits at deal prices cost the same as this. How many kits in an average builders collection repeats? How many kits will one never get to build before he kicks the bucket? If you take out the average kits out of a collection, one will have more cash and time for more expensive kits like resin or 1/12 scale If you add up all the unbuilt kits in your stash, how much is it worth? Probably more than you thought, in the thousands
  16. I'm not sure, but I'm hoping for $25-$40. My real goal is to do it in styrene plastic if I can Niko, I would like to join a Finland Model car forum to promote my Futurliner. Do you know of any that are popular? Thank you
  17. Here are some photos of my Futurliner resin body Its $150 plus shipping. Includes body, black glass, and 4 resin wheel/tires. It's mostly geared toward the promo collector market, as opposed to model builders, so it's not very detailed. Due to the spending habits of the car crowd, costs were kept lower by not including a chassis, interior, detail exterior parts, and clear glass. Some minor air bubbles need to be filled. The lower door lines on both sides need to be rescribed. With some work, it'll make a impressive model If interested, please email: Robert Burns Jr101 at Yahoo dot com Thank you for reading
