  1. I use the Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy and yes one needs to mix the amounts of both the resin and hardener as close to 1:1 you can or it probably won't set up and dry the way it should. As far as shelf life, if you don't open the packages and puncture the tubes, it should be good for a long time as I never have a problem with fresh packages of epoxy lying around for months. I've been using epoxy as my go-to glue for many years now and I like it because it has a strong bond and dries clear. I never have to take a "repair kit" when I bring my models to display at club meetings, NNL's, or shows as nothing falls off.
  2. Beautiful weather here for a change today so I took my ride out for a spin and put 'bout 50 miles on it. Also stopped at my friends house to check out the newly painted '67 GP convertible in his garage sitting next to a '66 GTO and a '67 Mustang GT.
  3. Still prayin' for your son and he sounds like he's making forward progress which is great news.
  4. Theat's what I do Deuces as it's cheap and they work good.
  5. Again, with the odds against you, you might as well just flush the $2 down the toilet.
  6. I don't play those lottery jackpots as I have a better chance of surviving a fall off a cliff as the odds of winning the jackpot is more than terrible.
  7. I just checked my '62 Fury Hardtop kit and I have those parts also. They are not listed on the instruction sheet either. They appear to be fender ornaments, as that's my guess but it's probably a wrong guess. Beats me???
