Hmmm, and here I myself enjoy going into parts stores, hobby shops, clothing stores, and checking things (merchandise)out and talking to people. Besides I need to get out of the house once in awhile.

I really don't think that will be true, maybe to some extent but I believe they'll be brick & mortar stores for awhile, at least as long as I'll be here. And of course we can't forget that a lot of changes that come about will be things we can't change. So we'll just have to go with the flow. I know that I have even though I don't like a lot of it, that's what one gets living in the 21st century.

I believe that procrastination comes at any age and to some people more than others. I know someone who hasnn't finished a model car since 1968 (?) and yet he still looks through the boxes, buys some more kits, makes an inventory, etc. That's 1/2 a century my friends. Of course I myself procrastinate at times even though I leave myself notes to get things done, and the notes do help a lot.

Yep from what I've seen on TV tonight, is that the shelving and all other fixtures are on the way out just like the toys were. GONE!

AMT was NOT shrink wrapping in 1960 but taping the box ends on the bottom and the tape also indicated what was in the generic box.

I don't believe that at all, do you? It's a toy store and not a hobby shop. Even the Walmarts don't carry models around here anymore and they're doing great. In fact their stores will be "packed" this weekend.

Nice build as I remember seeing cars like that run back in the mid-60's. Is your build box stock, or no?

I'm not now, however not too long ago I was heavy into building gasser models and also other drag racing subjects from the 60's.
