  1. Just find another photo hosting site and be done with it. That's what a lot of us did and it works great.
  2. Tim's display was located at an ideal spot in the room and couldn't be missed. I'm sure that it was enjoyed by almost everybody. There was a lot of hard work in building all those models as well as the display stand which was a section of a NASCAR track.
  3. Welcome Dan and Mike, and thanks for stepping up to the plate.
  4. Bring anything you want to display. I don't know what the "theme" is as the NNL's usually have a "theme" table for that particular show. However all model car builds, truck, and motorcycles are welcomed. It IS a "ton of fun." I would meet you there if it wasn't so far, and nowadays I don't do long distance driving like I did in my younger years.
  5. Sorry Kris as I don't know or think that I have his business card either. I just know where to look for him at swap meets. I may see him in September at the DuPage show in Wheaton, Illinois.
  6. James you NEED to attend an NNL as it is an awesome model car event. We just had our Milwaukee NNL this past Saturday and had almost 700 models in spite of the bad weather. The NNL East should have over 1000 from what I'm told. I've never been to that one but I have attended the Toledo NNL several times also. Check it out, you won't be sorry.
  7. We have a vendor at our local swap meets that carries MAD distributors and I stock up from his offerings.
  8. Does this qualify as a camper/RV, or no?
  9. Thank you Tim for bringin' your beautiful display of NASCARs to our annual event, the Milwaukee NNL as it was a great show in spite of the bad weather. Hope to see you there next year as well.
  10. Got some parts in the mail today from a fellow builder for a "stalled" project I hope to finish soon.
  11. I don't believe that I had ever watched that show especially if it had a "laugh track." If a show is funny, I'll laugh and I don't need a laugh track to let me know when to laugh just because the writer thinks his/her stuff is funny.
  12. I didn't make the trip out to the swap meet the next day after the Milwaukee NNL # 26 as I had enough bad weather on Saturday. Looks like you made a good haul and I think I have one or two of those sedan kits somewhere in my "stash."
  13. Great ideas and impressive work. Looks like a winner.
  14. 5-Minute Epoxy will set up in 5 minutes or so, however it takes 24 hours to cure fully, so if you have any sensitive parts glued on or you're lookin' for strength like the body to the chassis, I would allow drying time. Also, if one doesn't mix the two parts evenly the glue may not work properly. And the two part epoxy has different colored caps on the tubes, black & white. Pick on color like white and put that on your mixing pad first, and ALWAYS do this and then use the tube with the black cap. Reason is if you put one part on your mixing pad, and the doorbell or the phone rings, or whatever interruption, you know which tube you used first and then you can finish mixing the second part.
  15. I've been using Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy for years now for just about everything that I have to glue together and very happy with it. It dries clear and has a strong bond. I know that it''s a bit pricey and a bit wasteful too, but it works for me.
  16. Very nice build on that Chevy Mike.
