  1. Did you mean shots of the Anglia?
  2. There's also a 1 : 1 scale "Badman" that was at the latest SEMA Show I believe. I often wondered if Tom Daniel is related to Jack Daniels?
  3. That is bad news as I'm a big fan of the Fast & Furious movies. While they would never win an academy award, they did make money, and that is the bottom line. May Paul Walker R.I.P.
  4. A guy I worked with had one back in the late 60's that he drove daily and it looked bitchin'. I think that he also took it to the "strip" as well.
  5. Looks great Terry as I just finished one like it this past summer in Bahama Blue.
  6. Wow Chris, great job on that build as well as color choice and decals too!
  7. And all I got is glue on my fingers. I hate when that happens. Next Sunday(8th) I'll be at a swap meet and buy stuff that I don't need and also stop at the "Empire" as well.
  8. Those aren't "bumble bee" stripes on the late model. Try again.
  9. Great info Ace, thanks.
  10. Great job on that build!
  11. That makes Prefect sense to me.
  12. That's gonna be nice and I've thought about starting my '37 Chevy Coupe a few times. I do love 60's gassers as well.
  13. A VERY Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Be grateful for what you have and know that there are millions of people in this world that have much less.
  14. Great save, congrats!
  15. Welcome to the forum Ron as this is a great place to be.
  16. I get in a "building slump" every now and then, and usually it doesn't last long. As for lookin' at your projects or model kits, they won't get done by lookin' at 'em is what I tell myself.
  17. I got to order four sets of drag slicks from Speed City Resin today and I hope that when I get them, they'll give me a boost to build and finish something, as it's been awhile.
  18. Has anyone seen the Glooz Brothers lately? The last time I saw them was in Chicago and I haven't seen them since.
  19. Have you checked out the ones from Speed City Resin?
  20. I looked at my Hobby Lobby the other day and didn't see them. Maybe I need to look again?
  21. Great job on your coverage of a great show, many thanks! I enjoyed that show immensely when I was there yesterday afternoon.
  22. Mike, check in the above: 1 :1 Car Reference Photo column as Gerry Paquette has posted about 400 photos from the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Show, and are they ever great!
  23. Very nice build on that Anglia as I just love gassers. I used to watch them race in the mid and late 60's before the funny cars booted them out from the Sunday race programs.
  24. For those who live in Illinois or southern Wisconsin, there was an AWESOME car show this weekend at the Rosemont Convention Center in the Chicagoland area. It was the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals which seems to get better every year and the first year was just great to begin with. While admission was a bit pricey, it was well worth it to see the show. I did take a lot of photos and hopefully when I upload them, they will help me get out of my "building slump" and inspire me to start (and finish) a few more models. There was a model car contest there as well, as there have been for the last three years, but it never really "took off" and the participation was slim as it has been in the past.
