  1. Xtremely nice!
  2. I hope that it's soon as I'm runnin' out of model kits to build.
  3. Well said Gary and I hope that you members will fly the flag today as a remberance. I was lucky enough to visit Pearl Harbor a couple of years ago and it was a moving experience.
  4. Have you checked out the Elvira kit by Polar Lights?
  5. Well Harry, surely you don't think that crooked politics is EVER going to stop in the state of Illinois do you???
  6. I used to spray in the "laundry" room also and then realizing that with having the furnace and hot water heater in the same room, it was NOT a good idea to spray paint there anymore.
  7. So far your model is WAY "over the top" as your work is excellent and that's going to be one fine Deuce.
  8. Harry, building a new jail would create lots of jobs not only for construction workers, but for personel once it's built. Great idea to help stimulate this stagnant economy!
  9. Wow, interesting Charger with awesome paint and cool wheels!
  10. Looks like the ball is in your court Alan and maybe you could check the local hobbyshops and start a club? Give it a go, what have you got to lose?
  11. Who's next? Just step right on up! LOL!
  12. I stand to be corrected as the Evergreen/Oaklawn area is pretty far from Bensenville. Offhand I don't know of any model car clubs in or near your area.
  13. Try the Lake Michigan Model Car Club and I believe they're in the Bensenville area.
  14. Looks good Nick and so what if it's not perfect, all that matters is that you have FUN building it.
  15. I'd be very careful when putting in all that detail into that Chevy Bill because we won't be able to tell your build from the real thing.
  16. I got the front brakes done on my ten year old truck today as it has 127,000 + miles on it.
  17. Fords are good and a nice bunch of "Blue Ovals" you have there.
  18. I shoulda got Norm Grabowski's "Kookie's Kar" when the Danbury Mint first offered it. I guess I didn't 'cause most all of my die-cast are 50's cars.
  19. Great job on that "Bullletnosed" gasser and excellent color choice also.
  20. Not that hard, only the '57 Ford is on the top of my list and right now I'm tryin' to "thin out the herd" as I have been known to buy kits a LOT faster than I build 'em.
  21. C.A.R.S. in Miniature Model Car Club meets on the second Saturday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Algonquin Township Office at 3702 U S Hwy 14 in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
  22. Nice job on that Mopar Alan and that two tone is sharp!
  23. I use 5-minute epoxy for a lot of things such as the clear glass, photoetched parts, metal guitar string for antennas and "pinning" small parts such as sideview mirrors, and I would use it also to glue a resin scoop on a styrene hood. It seems to work for me over the years.
  24. Howz this:
