  1. Real nice job on that Charger Dan as it is truly lookin' good!
  2. I bought from you and although not the decals you had mentioned, I do really appreciate you calling out your mistakes and being HONEST with your past and future(?) customers. I for one will buy from you again. Thanks.
  3. A good driving record just means that you've never been caught YET!
  4. Are you STILL here Harry??? The snow is coming and you'll be sorry!
  5. Great photos there Ian and thanks for sharing. It was great to see you there and glad you could enter the contest as well. I'm currently trying to finish up my '70 Challenger kit and hopefully for a meeting next week. I'll post pics when it''s finished.
  6. A VERY Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families and we should be content and thankful for all we have as there are a LOT of people who have a LOT less than we do.
  7. Okay folks it's that time again, no not Howdy Doody Time but time to drag out the snow shovel, snow thrower, and of course a bit of salt too. Be ready!
  8. It does go together great as I have started my forth one and I WILL buy more. I do have the K.S. Pittman decals from Slixx already but haven't gotten around to building the car as yet.
  9. I've had no problems with the USPS in the last couple of years at all. Before that I had sent a package out west and it looked as if someone sat on it or played basketball with it. Now I write FRAGILE all over the package on all sides and insure it also. So far it seems to be working.
  10. i would send that photo to Modelhaus and Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland and see if they can help you out.
  11. Your "bat car" turned out really nice and I'm glad I picked up a couple of those kits. Where did you get the ribbons for the chutes? TIA.
  12. Gasser Wars book by Larry Davis.
  13. This subject haqs come up MANY times so I suggust you look over in the Tips, Tricks, & Tutorials and also the How Do I sections of this forum and you will find the answer to your question.
  14. How about having your dad try to build a few snap kits? I wish you and your dad good luck!
  15. What a cool project and always neat to see a six cylinder used instead of a V-8.
  16. Should be the same kit as the Stone, Woods, & Cook and also the Big John Willys with different decals as Revell is trying to get the most bang for their buck out of this Willys kit tooling. In these days I don't think that any model manufacturer is going to be cranking out new kits like in the good old days.
  17. The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals is promised to be a great show this weekend, and if it's anything like it has been the last two years it definately will be and I hope to see a few of you readers down there entering your models in the model car contest. Come on down!
  18. I have a couple of well made good sized curio cabinets with glass front, sides, and shelves to display my built models and aslo my Danbury & Franklin Mint Collection. If I get the urge to finish a whole bunch of models, I may have to get one of those Carney display cases also. Seems like I do well at buying and not so well completing models for some reason.
  19. While I don't know if you guys do any other shopping except for models and hobby supplies, it seems as though EVERYTHING is going up except my income.
  20. Both Perry's and Reliable have bad reputations and neither of them have anything that any of you can't do without. So go to other casters or build something else.
  21. It's not sad, modern technology and corporate greed has killed drag racing, it's as simple as that.
  22. Uh-oh, I can see that I'm gonna be in a heap 'o trouble now.
  23. I DON!T believe in Santa as the Easter Bunny told me not to!
  24. That's a great book as I've had a my copy for a long time and also Dragster and Funny Car Memories by Don Montgomery too.
