  1. And here I thought issue # 164 would be the dune buggy issue, I guess not.
  2. George, the pizza place you describe sounds like Geno's East as I used to go there back in the 60's.
  3. I usually don't check on the big scale stuff, but I can see that I should. That is a really sharp build you have there as I like it a lot!

  6. It's worth ONLY what somebody else will pay for it and nothing more.
  7. The Detroit Auto Show is a bit far for me sol I'll be waiting until it gets here in Chicago next month as my better-half is in the market for a new ride and has her eyes on a Chrysler 300.
  8. There's NO need to primer parts as I use bottled paints which are enamal and made for plastics and I also use Testors lacquers which aremade for plastics also, so why primer? I mostly use primer just on the body and body parts and this seems to work for me.
  9. Are YOU ready Harry, the snow IS coming! LOL!

  11. I picked up one last week and it was a red one, so now I'll have to get another one as I do want a white one.
  12. The photo of the stand that you posted looks like it was made from plastic spreu. You could easily make one out of sprue or use Evergreen and or Plastruct tubing to make your own. It's really not that difficult at all.
  13. Sorry for your loss as it is real tough losing a pet or someone you love. It will take time and lots of it to accept your loss. Good luck.
  14. You're going to need a magneto instead of a distributor unless you're building a "nostaligia dragster" and if so you'll also need a whole lot more safety goodies too.
  15. "Back in the day" we used to drain our motor oil in the city sewers.
  16. They should be out sometime this year and probably before I run out of kits to build. That NASCAR build would be good while I'll be on the other side of the coin and building a gasser out of it.
  17. When the temps here start hovering around the freezing mark I take ALL liquids out of my garage because after freezing and thawing of such liquids they are NO longer and good. I've even seen car-wash soap turn to ###### and would not use it.
  18. I thought that I saw Kris of Morgan Automotive Detail offered filter cones in his lineup of products.
  19. I saw at my LHS today the Gremlin,Vantasy, Barnabas, and Tim Flock Hudsons on the shelves TODAY as well as the Manx and Street Chargers which I picked up.
  20. I was at the Model Empire today and picked up the Round2/AMT Meyers Manx kit as well as the Round 2/MPC 1/16th scale Street Charger kit also. They did have the Vantasy kit, the Gremlin kit, the Barnabas Vampire Van kit, and a '51 Chevy in a tin box kit as well. They also had the Tim Flock Hudsons on the shelf along with the Hornet kits.
  21. That van is lookin' really good so far, excellent work!
