  1. Check with the "editor" Gregg, as he can set you straight.
  2. Here's a couple photos of my most recent build that I finished on New Years Eve. It's a mid-60's gas dragster built from AMT's Double Dragster kit. It is mostly box-stock with the exception of the manifold, carb, & velocity stack from the parts box, scratch-built oil filter, a M.A.D. pre-wired magneto, and Dupli-color Bahama blue Metallic paint.
  3. I wanted to be there for the weekend with my car and also bring a couple of models too, but a health issue kept me at home. Hopefully I'll be there this year. I remember the Goodguys Model Contest at the old DA North Timing Tower at IRP a few years back until the tower was torn down.
  4. What's the engine doing in the rear, did someone pput the cart before the horse(power)?
  5. I JUST finiished a car today and it was painted Dupli-Color Bahama Blue Metallic and it looks great! I have used Dupli-Color in the past and I'll use it again. If you're not sure about using them, you can always send them to me.
  6. I gotta agree with you Ed as you can keep those "big wheels" that are way out of proportion to the rest of the car. If it weren't so, Chrysler would have made 'em
  7. You can get your surf boards from Norm Veber at Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland, I did.
  8. Excellent job on that sled, no tuck & roll on the package tray?
  9. Thanks Tom, I'll check with him as I see him often.
  10. I have PLENTY to build so if new stuff comes out okay, if not, okay too. No I'm not excited at all about more plastic.
  11. I have that Buick also Harry and it is gorgeous. A friend of mine got it for me as a gift.
  12. I have to agree with you Brad as I've seen time and time again that a lot of modelers want a $60 kit for $20 and cry, cry, cry when a new kit comes out that isn't to their liking.
  13. Does any resin caster cast a 1/25th scale coffin? If not I think that they would sell well as they could be used with a variety of builds as well as dioramas also. How about it casters???
  14. A '68 Charger convertible, not even Dodge made a '68 Charger convertible "back in the day" but you can with your trusty razor saw.
  15. Both the GTX and the Dart look as they would topple over going around the corner and that's not very streetable in my book.
  16. Wow, that is one AWESOME buggy Dave!
  17. I think that Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland carry those grilles also.
